“We are so grateful to the entire team at Melhorn Manor for making our wedding day happen!! It's hard to even know where to begin - from start to finish, every detail of the day was magical thanks to the team's hard work and expertise. When my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we toured plenty of venues, but we knew right away that Melhorn Manor was different in the best way. We were used to being rushed through other venue tours, dismissed because our wedding wasn't big enough, and generally being made to feel more like dollar signs than excited newlyweds-to-be. But our experience at Melhorn Manor couldn't have been further from this - we met Allory for the tour, and before we took a step through the property, he took the time to introduce himself and the Melhorn family and to share the lovely story of how Melhorn Manor came about. We didn't feel rushed or pressured like we had at other venues, and Allory really took the time to understand our vision for our big day and help us imagine it around the property. We left that day glowing and feeling sure that "this is the one!" And how right we were!! We really can't say enough positive things about our wedding day. Getting ready in the amazing bridal suite and Groom's room was such a fun and special way to kick off the day. As the ceremony approached, it was so clear that the team was all working so hard to make sure all the decor was set up, every detail was thought through, and every moment went off without a hitch. What a special and humbling feeling it is to have so many people invested in making your special day as magical and memorable as you've always hoped it would be - it's impossible to express the depth of our gratitude. Our wedding day was quite a rainy one, but the Melhorn team had a plan for everything. Melhorn Manor had the most robust rain plan of any venue we toured: some venues' plans had felt more like an afterthought, while Melhorn offers an entirely separate building that can be used for the ceremony in inclement weather. It was such a huge relief to feel like we didn't have to worry about adjusting every detail on the fly, and to go into our rainy wedding day knowing that, regardless of the weather, it would be just as beautiful and special as we always imagined. We had and continue to have SO many of our guests, both on the wedding night and afterwards, tell us that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. So many glowing comments about the beautiful venue, the fun had on the dance floor, the amazing and kind staff, and all of the countless details that go into making the day memorable. We couldn't agree more that Melhorn Manor was the perfect backdrop for our special day, and we have the incredible team to thank for all the hard work, attention to detail, and love that went into making this the wedding of our dreams. From beginning to end, she went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. We also enjoyed staying in the Paradise Suite the night of the wedding. “We were a little late in finding a venue for our wedding but so happy we found a late fall opening with Strock Enterprises on their beautiful farm in Mechanicsburg. Kurt Strock and his team made the process super easy and walked us through all of our questions. Their option for having us provide some of our table top decorations while using some of their decorations helped the budget along. The food was amazing and Kurt's Dad (original Farm owner/operator) is superb at his barbeques - we had a full pig roast and barbeque steak). Would highly recommend.”

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

The Barn Of Nottingham

“The Barn of Nottingham was the most perfect wedding venue my husband and I could have chosen. Mallory was absolutely amazing and helped out so much throughout the process. Her and her team made the days leading up to and the day of the wedding so much easier. We chose to do the full weekend package and it was the best decision ever! We were able to treat the whole weekend as a little get away for my husband and I, along with our wedding parties. Having the venue the whole weekend made setting up decorations so much easier and less stressful. The venue, from the house, to outside, to inside the barn, was absolutely stunning. The rustic feel was exactly what we wanted on our wedding day. Being able to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at one location was amazing. Having a space for both my husband and his groomsmen, along with my bridesmaids and I to get ready in the day of was perfect. My husband and I could not have picked a better venue to get married at. I 100% recommend the barn of Nottingham!”

“I honestly can't say enough amazing things about The Antrim 1844 Hotel! We had the most incredible wedding experience here, and I'm so grateful we found this gem. We actually heard about Antrim from a coworker whose family had their wedding there last spring. It wasn't even on our radar before that, but now I can't imagine our wedding taking place anywhere else! During our planning process, we got to see so many different weddings they were hosting, and I was blown away by their unique ability to make everything from small intimate gatherings to expansive celebrations not just work, but work beautifully! They really know how to adapt to each couple's vision. Working with Jill was such a joy! She made the entire planning process feel effortless and actually fun. She was so flexible with all our changes and took the time to walk us through backup plans for weather, which gave us such peace of mind knowing we were covered no matter what. We got lucky with lovely weather and got married in their rose garden, and oh my goodness - it was so breathtakingly gorgeous that we barely needed to add any decorations! The natural beauty spoke for itself and created the most romantic, dreamy backdrop for our vows. Having so many family members and friends traveling to join us, the wedding weekend stay option was a game-changer! The complimentary breakfast for overnight guests was such a thoughtful touch - it meant everyone could wake up together and start each day without any stress about finding food. It really made the whole wedding weekend feel like one big family celebration. The bridal suite in the main mansion was absolutely perfect for getting ready! There was space for our entire wedding party plus my mom and friends to get ready together, and it provided the most beautiful backdrop for photos. We got so many stunning getting-ready shots in that gorgeous space! The food was absolutely delicious - both during our tasting and on the big day! Our guests are still raving about it. The team worked so seamlessly with all our other vendors too, making sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. We were thrilled about the veterans discount, which let us add some extra special touches like a dessert bar, upgraded appetizers, and shade canopies for the ceremony. They made it so easy to customize everything within our budget. Every single guest has told us what an amazing time they had, and we're already excited to come back for anniversaries! We've heard their holiday decorations are absolutely spectacular, so we're definitely planning a winter visit. Cold Saturday Farm

“We booked a tour with Cold Saturday Farm on a whim, but holy cow am I glad that we did! We met with Brittany on a pretty dreary day in the winter, and even then I could see the beauty in the venue. It truly is a blank canvas that you can really make your own. Plus, the venue checked all the boxes that were super important to us: onsite getting ready spaces for both us, free onsite parking, guest tables and chairs included, and access to the venue all day. For the price, it was a great value. Brittany did end up leaving Cold Saturday, and we do wish that had been proactively communicated to us, but her replacement, Meredith, was fantastic, especially because she started the week before our wedding (I'm pretty sure we were her first wedding at the venue). But she was incredibly helpful and friendly--we actually had guests come up to us and tell us how awesome she was! The only other thing I wish we had known ahead of time was that the getting ready room the guys used didn't have any furniture. It was still being worked on during our tours, so we didn't actually see the room until the day of. So the room may have furniture at some point. Overall, we loved Cold Saturday Farm. It is truly a hidden gem (none of our vendors have ever worked there before but all of them said they loved it), so I really love that it was a pretty unique and beautiful place to have our wedding.”

“First off, online photos do NOT do this venue justice. We looked at Applecross last August and from the moment we walked in, we knew this was our venue. It is absolutely beautiful and the directer, Susie, made us feel so comfortable and at ease during the whole process. She answered any questions I had and that really showed that she cared about her couples. I’m SO happy we went with Applecross! The day of our wedding, everything went PERFECTLY! I owe that to Susie, her assistant Heather, the Gardens At Applecross staff and all of our vendors! I did not have to worry about a thing. Our guests all commented on how the venue was beautiful and the food was amazing! I truly couldn’t have asked for a better day! So if you’re thinking about Applecross as your wedding venue, DO IT! You will NOT be disappointed! OH! They were also pet friendly, which really won us over! If we had to do it all over again, I’d pick Applecross in a heartbeat!”

“From the first tour to the actual wedding day, our experience with everyone at Stokesay was incredible. Maureen was an absolute dream as our coordinator. The food was a huge hit. All of the servers and staff were so sweet and genuinely lovely to be around. The venue itself is right out of a fairytale and allowed for us to enjoy all of the whimsical vibes we always wanted. The recently renovated Princess Suite is amazing. So spacious, wonderful lighting, all around a lovely space to get ready in. We found most of our vendors through the bridal showcase that Stokesay hosts, and everyone on their list of preferred vendors that we patronized were amazing as well. We are thrilled with how the entire process went and will cherish the memories made on our wedding day our entire lives. We're also lucky to live close enough to be able to come back and enjoy the Knight's Pub whenever we want to revisit that magical atmosphere.”

Brooke the wedding concierge was absolutely amazing as well. She was so supportive and helpful I’m so thankful she was with us the entire evening! She helped us with our couples portraits, grabbed us drink refills, and made sure we were having a good time! I also must say ALL the food we had was absolutely phenomenal. Every one of my guests that I spoke to were raving about the food! From the cocktail hour, to dinner, to dessert everyone was taken away by how good everything was. Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel

“Our experience with the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel for our wedding was a bit mixed but overall great. Their communication style was sometimes delayed and we ended up working with a few different coordinators, but they always answered our questions thoroughly. The front desk staff were not the friendliest but the bellmen were all exceptional! The space itself was beautiful, though there were other events going on that day which caused some overlap between the two. Our whole wedding party had to pass around a holiday party, and a few of those people ended up at the reception, but I guess wedding crashers can always be expected. A few of our guests had issues with their hotel rooms as well. The bridal suite had a stain and needed to change, and they were able to immediately. All that said, Catherine, our main point of contact, was incredibly helpful, insightful, and went above and beyond to make sure our special day went smoothly. She assisted with everything and helped the day go smoothly. We even had some hiccups due to the biggest winter storm of the decade, but Catherine and her team were able to help us and help our guests extend their reservations. Overall, the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel provided a lovely venue.”

“We held our wedding reception at the B&O Railroad Museum and it was a perfect venue for our special day. Kathy, our main contact, was extremely responsive in answering all of our questions during the planning process. The museum was an air conditioned, spacious room that comfortably accommodated our 60 guests. We loved being able to take photos with the historic trains as a backdrop. The B&O staff, especially Kathy, ensured the room was properly set up, clean, and ready for our event. From start to finish, they made the experience nearly flawless. It was a beautiful, family-friendly atmosphere that lent itself well to celebration. I would highly recommend the B&O Railroad Museum as a unique and memorable wedding venue.”
