The barn was originally built in the 1800s by the Gabel family from Germany. Dairy farmers by trade, this barn was the family's home and livelihood for many generations. Seminary Hill is an all-season flexible space that offers a distinctive venue to host your weekend wedding. Located 2 ½ hours northwest of NYC, our holistic apple and pear orchard and working cidery provide breathtaking views of the Catskills and the Delaware River Valley. We offer both indoor and outdoor settings. You may stage your ceremony on a high ridge overlooking the Delaware River or nestled among the apple and pear trees. You may serve lunch or dinner in our award-winning Tasting Room or our elegant Wedding Tent. Our Executive Chef Jack Tippett has created seasonal catering menus that pair perfectly with our ciders.Included in the wedding package are the Mountain House and Cottage, sleeping ten guests. Creekside Grove is a scenic venue located in the Endless Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Situated on 10 landscaped acres it is the perfect location for your next event. Creekside Grove is conveniently located just north of Scranton, Pa and south of Binghamton, NY. The grove features a large covered pavilion with vaulted wood ceilings, fieldstone walls and a stone fireplace. The pavilion features a removable enclosure in case of inclement weather and an extra large deck shaded by beautiful Sycamore trees. We have a large variety of decorations that couples can choose from, or supply their own. From signs, centerpieces, floral swag, etc. in all different colors and designs, we help to keep the additional decor cost low or even at no cost to our couples.
