Hausfrau is an upscale catering and events company putting the JOY back into hosting and wedding planning. Let us take care of all the details. We love themes ~and FOOD~ not just German! We can develop the perfect menu, layout, decor, and more to create a unique experience for your guests at your price point. Our team takes the time to hear your ideas, envision your perfect event with you, implement our shared plan, and ensure everyone enjoys our hospitality from start to finish. Our focus on aesthetics means we plate and garnish food on white china platters and wood instead of just dropping off disposable aluminum pans for you to figure out!

I’m a former public school teacher with years of work dedicated to food justice. I left teaching to pursue cooking because it has always been my dream to cook for people. I love preparing lavish and decadent food for weddings but I balance that effort with doing community oriented food distribution. The Hermana ethos is…. Food should be luxurious, but never a luxury.
