We loved having our wedding ceremony at Historic Acres of Hershey. The venue offers quick responses to questions, which made planning easy. The coop provided a beautiful, intimate setting for our small ceremony. The venue was great and set up perfectly for our special day - we didn't have to worry about a thing. Overall, Historic Acres offers great value with its gorgeous grounds that are perfect for wedding photos. We highly recommend this venue for couples looking for a small, elegant wedding ceremony site.

My husband and I decided to get married last-minute due to my mom's late cancer diagnosis and terminal prognosis. With only two months, our options for venues were very limited. Harmony Hall Estate quickly became the obvious choice! PROS: Their pricing package is flexible, with lots of options to tailor your experience to your budget. With great options for in-house catering and decorating, you'll save a lot of money and time on both. You can also pay an additional fee to bring in outside caterers. The food at our wedding came from Karen's Catering, their in-house caterer. We enjoyed our dishes at dinner and during cocktail hour. The pretzel cart absolutely hit the spot, though, and was a hit with our guests. Overall, I'd say the food was satisfying. The bar options, like the food packages, are quite flexible. We chose to prepay our bar tab for our guests, which allowed us to be open bar up to a certain price. We were able to add more to that tab via cash during the wedding. The venue itself is beautiful, with plenty of outdoor location choices for your ceremony. The location is convenient, with hotels nearby and shuttles that run you and your guests to and from the venue. The farmhouse to get ready in is gorgeous and historic, making it a wonderful location for pictures. There are plenty of places on the property for taking beautiful portraits with your partner and family. The ballroom is spacious, with flexible floor plans that Jill will work with you to design. You'll receive access to Aisle Planner when you book with Harmony Hall Estate, which is a nice online service to upload all of your wedding information. Included is a service to make your reception floor plan. CONS: I was told the key to the farmhouse would be placed in the lockbox, but couldn't find it morning of. None of the contacts at Harmony Hall answered when I called, and it took us nearly 45 minutes of searching to finally find the key in a mailbox. We lost a lot of valuable time to get ready, which created stress, and on top of that the farmhouse was so hot that my bridesmaids and I were sweating bullets while trying to do our hair and makeup. The temperature inside the building was in the mid and upper seventies, which was brutal with so many people and hot hair tools on. Additionally, while they have plenty of pricing options, I will say that their information package is somewhat confusing and rather lengthy. It could be tweaked to be more streamlined for the sake of clarity. The crab dip that we paid extra for during cocktail hour was disappointing. I don't recommend paying the upcharge for it, sadly. It's also good to keep in mind that you will pay the same price for a vendor's plate as you will one of your guests. This wasn't communicated to me until I asked, so I do recommend that the staff at Harmony Hall make sure their clients are aware of this. Our bartender, though kind, was unfamiliar with many of today's popular drinks and was rather slow, which was disappointing. OVERALL: Harmony Hall Estate is a great venue for a budget-friendly, beautiful wedding! I'd like to add as a disclaimer that our timeline for wedding planning was especially short, so some of the shortcomings when it comes to clarity/explanations of things may very well just be due to our rushed timeline. Since we are based in Kentucky, it made it harder to communicate effectively with Jill and the team at Harmony Hall.

I cannot recommend The Historic Peter Allen House highly enough for couples searching for a truly special and unforgettable wedding venue.

My husband and I had our Christmas-themed wedding at the Eden on December 10th of 2021, and I can’t sing the praises of the wedding coordinators, concierges, catering and janitorial staff enough. From start to finish we felt genuinely cared for by everyone in the resort...and I know how often they host weddings, but each and every person on the Eden team accommodated us in such a joyful way; as if we were the only wedding in the building. And it felt like they were sincerely happy for us. Which made the day feel really, really special. Madeline and Felicia, our wedding/day-of coordinators, attended to every last detail of the day, making sure that absolutely nothing was missed. They were present, intentional, flexible, and at times even borderline protective of me and my family. And that’s anything a bride could ever ask for. I couldn’t be more grateful. As far as the planning process goes: as a project manager, I very much appreciated the explicit, direct nature of their policies and procedures. After offering me several tours of the venue (MOB was from out of town and MOG wanted to see it on separate occasions) and answering all of my many many questions via phone and email, we had several formal meetings to comb through all the details and make sure we were on the same page. Maddie was able to help me delegate and manage my expectations, especially when it came to who was responsible for what, and even then bent over backwards to help me and my bridal party with day-of tasks. Thanks again to everyone on The Eden Resort & Suites staff. You were such a crucial part of our big day and we appreciate your hard work!

If I could give 1000 stars I would! From the moment we arrived at Drumore for our tour to our wedding day, everything was perfect. We are still absolutely gushing over Drumore. it was the perfect venue for our wedding. They truly make you feel like a VIP throughout the wedding process and their top notch events team helps ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. The transitions from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception were seamless. Our Guests were in awe of the views (we also lucked out with absolutely perfect weather), how fantastic the food was the salmon was cooked to perfection and the short rib melted in your mouth!! Every detail was perfectly executed. We could not recommend Drumore Estate enough. It's definitely well-worth the investment for a beautiful, love-filled weekend!" Can’t forget about Marnie: From the moment we met Marnie, it was clear that she knew the ins and outs of Drumore Estate like the back of her hand. Stokesay Castle is truly a dream venue, not just because of its breathtaking scenery, but because of its incredible staff. When we first toured the venue the manager, Luis, welcomed us like family. He took the time to explain all the packages available and even adjusted his recommendations to match our guest count, and never pushed us toward anything we didn’t need. He also shared helpful budget-friendly tips to make our day even more special and affordable. When we returned a second time for a renovation event, Luis remembered us instantly, greeting us with a big hug and even gave a personal tour, which expressed how much the staff genuinely care about their guests. Later, we had the pleasure of working with the new director, Dara, who went above and beyond to guide us through every step of the wedding-planning process. Whether it was through phone calls, emails, or in-person meetings, she made sure we had everything we needed. She was very polite and informative and always had a smile on her face. On our wedding day, she checked in with us multiple times throughout the day to ensure every detail went smooth and perfect. When talking about the food, all I have to say is it was absolutely phenomenal. Stokesay Castle’s menu offered a variety of delicious options, and while we had to narrow down our wedding-day menu, we also got to sample the rest at our rehearsal dinner the night before. Everything we tried was outstanding. The castle building itself is the perfect blend of modern elegance as well as old-time medieval appeal. It has stunning scenery, a beautiful outdoor ceremony area, snd spacious getting-ready rooms for both bride and groom. The gorgeous grand ballroom comfortably accommodated our 112 guests with room to spare, and it was everything we envisioned. Each time I visited Stokesay Castle I fell in love with it all over again, and that’s when I knew it was the place for us.

The Barn was purchased in 2008 and the couple quickly went to work transforming the building which had recently been an art gallery into the premier catering facility that it has become. Located at 737 W Fort McClure Blvd in Bloomsburg, the property provides privacy and seclusion for its guests but is only a few minutes away from hotels and downtown Bloomsburg. The Barn features a huge second story deck that wraps around half the building; it provides a wonderful space for guests during the warmer months.

The Barn at Boones Dam was a wonderful venue for our wedding. Communication with the staff was easy, quick, and knowledgeable which made planning very smooth. The barn itself is a beautiful, clean space that provided the perfect backdrop for our big day. They kept everything running on time and made sure we were well fed. The staff was also very flexible in accommodating some last minute changes we had to make. I would highly recommend The Barn to any couple looking for a scenic, accommodating venue with helpful, responsive staff to make your wedding day everything you hoped it would be.

We got married at RCC on April 5th. This was an amazing venue. They renovated the building from top to bottom and did a lot of outside landscaping. We had our rehearsal dinner at Jacks on the Green in a private room, the food was great and the service was on point. We had our Wedding ceremony inside and it turned out perfect. The dance floor is very big and our guests loved the outside patios. There’s so many great areas here for pictures. Dan, Kayla, and Brianna were great to work with. They’re very professional and quick to respond to any questions or concerns you have. We highly recommend you checking out this venue.

The Two Mile House, an impressive, historic Federal limestone residence, was built in the 1820s when the Walnut Bottom Road served as a busy thoroughfare for travelers, merchants, and farmers plying their trades. From 1826 to 1857, it served as The James Given Tavern. Many a weary traveler stopped here for lodging and simple food. The Two Mile House, so-named because of its distance from the town square, contains 12 rooms, 10 with fireplaces, which feature Doric-style pilasters and a central panel with oval medallion. The floor plan of the main block consists of a central passage flanked by double parlors on the west and double dining rooms to the east . A kitchen ell on the first floor has a large cooking fireplace. The central passage is dominated by an open staircase. The property has five acres of landscaped grounds and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
