My wife and I came to them on short notice and with a lot of stress due to the time/money expenses of planning the big day. Renee was unfailingly kind, endlessly patient and always upbeat. Putting it simply, the crew at Adena are wonderful people who are very good at their job. The day itself went off without a single hiccup. Every typical issue that we encountered - such as delays on our part, or things I forgot- was handled before I even fully aware of it. They did their jobs calmly and joyfully, and helped reassure my anxious wife (and my surprisingly anxious self). The location is absolutely beautiful, maintained expertly and decorated perfectly. Our reception was elegant and rustic, with clear views of the blue sky outside making a very pretty backdrop to celebration. The Wooded Cathedral was where we had our reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s dreamed of an outdoor wedding in the country. My wife and I are so happy that we switched venues to Adena. We’re thrilled that they’ve left us with these memories, and we are so happy to call the team at Adena friends. Thank you guys for helping us start a marriage on the highest possible note.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience here. From Min and Morten, to all the advisors that helped us, to all the staff who worked the venue for set up, the cooks, the servers, the bartenders, and not to mention how insanely good the food was - every single aspect of this place and the people there were truly magnificent. I was excited to marry the love of my life, sure, but after 16 years together I really viewed this as just a big party to celebrate with all the people in our lives. I expected and welcomed that view. To say it exceeded expectations is overwhelmingly unfair - it completely blew my mind how amazing the whole day was, honestly the whole weekend since there was also the rehearsal and breakfast the morning after, and I cannot express how grateful I am for how the whole experience turned out. I know I had loved the venue itself when we first visited, and that I thought the food was absolutely amazing during the food tasting, but it ended up being even more gorgeous on the day and the food for 150 people was still all so delicious that not one guest didn't mention at least one of the apps/ entree throughout the night and following day. One of my brides people who is quite the foodie snob keeps mentioning how juicy the chicken was. Seriously though, the food was just phenomenal. I never like cakes at weddings (they're always beautiful but don't taste good) and had planned on getting cake pops for my wedding, but at the food tasting I was just shocked at how amazing it was that I had to have that cake for the day. I would recommend this venue, and this staff, so whole heartedly. If any of the staff read this review, thank you all for making our special day one that will forever be a heartwarming memory.

My husband and I got married at Inns of Aurora in June and I cannot say enough great things about the property, the staff, our contacts Lindsey and Kim, the food, and every piece of the weekend. We knew we wanted to get married in the Finger Lakes and looked at a few venues, but nothing compared to Inns. We loved the intimate nature of the property, the wedding and reception spaces, the accommodations, the convenience of Fargo across the street for the after party, and the relaxed yet elevated vibe. Lindsey and Kim were incredible to work with - we felt both understood what we were looking for and wanted to do and were a joy to work with. During the wedding weekend, Kim was absolutely amazing - anticipating our every need, offering to take our dog out during our wedding if needed, and checking in on me throughout the welcome party and reception to see if I needed anything (often already prepared with my drink of choice in hand in case I needed a refill). The food was incredible - our guests all remarked about the food and service the entire weekend. Our guests loved spending the weekend in Aurora - walking to the Village Market to grab a coffee in the morning, enjoying the spa, wineries and breweries, just enjoying time with friends on the gorgeous properties, having lunch at Fargo, etc. Overall this is a phenomenal property and venue - they deliver an exceptional level of service and I can't recommend it enough. Two vendors to call out - Metropolitan Players was the wedding band of our dreams and Laura of Laura Rose Photography was truly the best (a pleasure to work with, incredible energy on the day of, and stunning photos). We look forward to coming back to Inns for many years to come!

We had an absolutely perfect day at Cricket Creek. We hosted our ceremony up in the pasture and our cocktail hour down and around the barn. The possibilities were endless and we were able to shape the space and use it exactly how we wanted. Working with Jessi made that easy because she was always there to give us advice and make sure all our bases were covered and we weren’t missing anything important. We decided to go to an indoor location for our reception because we knew it would get cold at night in late October, but if we were there at a warmer time, the Barn would also be an amazing spot for a reception. Our guests could not get over the views and the cows! Thank you, Cricket Creek!

This was my first and only venue I toured and I fell in love. We were looking for something very modern and our style and this was exactly that! I was so in love with the large floor to ceiling windows and at night it was absolutely stunning! The outside patio with the fire pits were such a beautiful touch and everyone was loving them all night! The food & drinks were delicious and I have to mention how amazing the staff was to us.. truly wouldn’t have gotten through the night without them! Highly recommend!!

From our very first email, Carol was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. My parents toured The Ruins at Sassafras on a bitterly cold January day, and even over FaceTime her energy came through immediately. She is meticulous, deeply passionate about the property, and so genuinely positive. On the morning of our wedding, she even built a fire in the fireplace while we were getting ready — I think that detail demonstrates her level of thoughtfulness. The venue requires a month-of planner and offers an in-house coordinator, Lara, who we booked right away. She is extremely organized and detail-oriented, and from our first meeting we knew we were in great hands. As the wedding got closer, she took over vendor communication, which ended up being far more helpful than we even expected. She was with us from before our first touchbase all the way through our last dance, and we truly can’t recommend her enough. The venue itself is completely unique and absolutely stunning. Even in November, it made for a beautiful outdoor ceremony — just plan to budget for heaters or fires if you’re hosting an event in a cooler season. There are endless photo opportunities and so much flexibility to make the day feel truly your own. One of our favorite features is that the wedding party can stay overnight on the property (up to 18 people), which is a huge plus since there is basically no ridesharing in the area. Be sure to have a shuttle/provide transportation from a hotel block! The 2 p.m. checkout on Sunday is a game-changer when you’re recovering from a full wedding weekend. Even if you’re not planning an event, Carol also offers historical tours of the property, and they are such a treat. A true must-visit — and if you’re looking for a wedding venue that feels entirely yours for a full weekend, this is it! Thank you, Carol, Jerome, and Lara, for everything!

It was perfect to have the ceremony outside because the setting is so beautiful. However, we had a rain plan that would have been equally lovely. We had a mobile bar that pulled up right outside the barn, and our guests simply walked outside to get a drink. Nancy and team put up a tent right next to the bar, with lounge chairs and bar tables. We had the barn doors open the entire evening, which provided a nice breeze and allowed our guests to mingle outside and still feel part of the gathering. They were there throughout the wedding day and helped with all the vendors, which made it much easier for us. I can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else - they are so accommodating and gracious, and we are so grateful to have had our wedding in such a special place.

He had an answer or solution to any questions we had and made the planning, preparing and day off all run smooth. He is prompt, professional and very friendly. We had a wonderful weekend at Bellavista estate! The house is very comfortable and well stocked. Laurie does a good job tailoring the set up to your needs. My kids had a blast exploring the huge yard and loved the playground and playroom. It’s very close to amazing restaurants and multiple town main streets. We also had a rehearsal brunch in the barn which was beautiful! It was a pleasure to work with everyone to create a special day. I highly recommend the property for large groups!

From the first visit to the last glass of wine, this winery didn’t just host our wedding - they carried it. We toured five venues. This was the only one that made us feel calm. There was no chaos, no up-selling, no guessing. They asked smart questions early, they handled details we didn’t even know to worry about so we didn't have to. They treated our wedding like it mattered to them personally. It was like I had a wedding planner in the family. The setting was just so beautiful. Our guests were so delighted by all the unique touches they included. I especially loved how they checked in with us leading up to our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, everything just worked. They handled the whole timeline so we didn't have to worry about it and we were able to actually enjoy our wedding instead of managing it. I think we had the most fun out of anyone at our wedding. There was no-stress and no-drama. If you want a wedding that feels elevated, personal, and completely taken care of this is it. Worth every penny and then some. We didn't want to leave. When we first booked Glen Sanders, someone told my mother that Glen Sanders runs like a well-oiled wedding machine. They were spot on. Glen Sanders knows weddings. Every vendor was thrilled to hear we were working with them. They made the entire process so easy, so clear. Maki, our bridal attendant, was INCREDIBLE. She greeted us off the bus with our champagne flutes, made sure I was hydrated all during photos, helped me with my dress, and brought me down my sneakers at the reception, among many other things. Glen Sanders also sets up all of your cocktail hour Hors d'œuvres in a separate room for you to eat before going to your reception, and it was the moment my husband and I needed to catch our breath and feel "present" for the rest of the night. People often say their wedding was a blur, but we remember every detail thanks to that moment to pause. As for the venue itself, all of our guests still talk about how great of a setup it was. We got ready on-site (groomsmen downstairs, bridesmaids upstairs, MOG got her hair done in the salon downstairs), our cocktail hour outside and on the enclosed porch, the reception in the ballroom, our after party in the basement bar (Speak-easy vibes!), and then we stayed up with close friends and siblings around the fire until the early hours before going to sleep in our rooms on-site! We got married at Saratoga National Golf Club on April 12th, and it was truly the most incredible experience from start to finish. If you’re considering this venue—book it. You will be in the absolute best hands. Saratoga National partners with Mazzone Hospitality (or vice versa!), and their team is second to none. Our sales coordinator, Ellie, was a total gem. She was responsive, supportive, and never nickel-and-dimed us on small changes or additions. Planning from out of town can be stressful, but she made everything easy and even helped us find smart ways to cut costs without sacrificing the experience. The day before the wedding, our event manager, J’Leen, carefully set up all of our candles and décor exactly as we envisioned. She was professional, incredibly hardworking, and so thoughtful. I can’t say enough about what a great manager she is—she truly has everything down to a science. On the day of the wedding, the team executed everything flawlessly. They were kind to our guests, cleared plates quickly, and remained accessible throughout the event. After the celebration, they packed up all our items with care so we could easily pick them up the next morning. Now, let’s talk about the food—our guests are STILL raving about it! Everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. As someone who works in Human Resources and plans corporate events multiple times a year, I’ve worked with many venues—and I can confidently say this team is the best I’ve ever encountered. Going into planning our wedding we knew that we wanted a primarily outdoor venue that allowed us to have a full weekend event from Friday through Sunday morning. After looking at several throughout the CT, MA, and VT area and not finding one we loved, we stumbled on West Mountain Inn and immediately knew it was perfect. The venue itself is beautiful from the quintessentially New England bed and breakfast, to the flower garden behind the ceremony site, to the incredible mountains in the background. The venue in late summer was simply stunning. While we were lucky enough to have perfect weather allowing for a fully outdoor experience (welcome party, ceremony & cocktail hour, and farewell breakfast were all outside!) West Mountain offered enough indoor locations that if there had been inclement weather, we wouldn’t be confined to only one space, which was a concern we had with other venues we toured. All the food we had during our weekend was incredible, from the buffet dinner and hors d’oeuvres, the breakfasts Saturday and Sunday morning, and the woodfired oven pizzas during our welcome party (guests absolutely loved the scallion street corn pie!!). On top of the inn, property, and food being amazing, West Mountain Inn is such an excellent wedding venue because of Amie, the inn owner and coordinator. Amie clearly loves helping people make their dream weddings come true. She serves as the day of coordinator and point of contact for your vendors, and makes it incredibly easy and straightforward to make all of the decisions you need to make the day come true. Amie was incredibly responsive, professional, patient, kind, and accommodating to our questions and asks. She and the Head Chef helped us plan a menu that catered to multiple types of allergies, as well as working with the bar to do our own off menu signature cocktails and a mocktail for the reception. Amie’s two incredibly well behaved golden retrievers, Milo and Pepper, also joined and were a hit with kids and adults alike! Something unadvertised but amazing about West Mountain was the collection of decorations and items from previous weddings (think chalkboards, table numbers, card boxes, table seating displays, etc.) that Amie has available for her couples to use in their own weddings which reduced our DIY requirements to basically nothing. The only thing we rented was drapes in the barn but other than that everything was already provided. One of the best parts of having our wedding at West Mountain Inn is that it’s now a special, meaningful place that we’re able to return to over the coming years. West Mountain Inn was absolutely the best decision we made in our wedding planning journey and we would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

The Saratoga Winery was a perfect venue for our Wedding ! We had our cocktail hour at the inside bar area and outside covered deck and patio areas. It was a beautiful day which allowed our guests to enjoy the grounds. The outside offers numerous photo opportunities not only for the Wedding Party but also for the Wedding guests. Our dining and dancing were held in the attached Barn. The barn oozes rustic charm! There is also a covered deck adjacent to the dining area. Our guests took advantage of all the wonderful space this venue has. The Food was exceptional !!! Our compliments to the Chef!! We are still getting rave reviews from our guests on the meals they had! We can’t express enough how grateful we are to Annie, the owner, for all she did to provide us with Our Dream Wedding! My husband and I were married at TurnPark in what I would consider a dream setting. The towering artwork, the gorgeous water filled quarry, and the amphitheater made out of local marble made a gorgeous backdrop for our big day. When my husband and I decided to get married, we were extremely overwhelmed and had no idea where to even start with planning such a momentous event. We knew that we wanted the wedding to be intimate (not to many guests), in a setting that was surrounded by trees, and in a location that felt like home. Out of all the wedding venues in Vermont, the Hermitage Inn captured everything we were looking for. A gorgeous space and an attentive staff… making the day feel as effortless as possible. After a short call with the Events Director, Gina, we knew our big day was in good hands. She not only spent multiple hours on the phone with us, but she also provided amazing visuals for us as we were planning this wedding from out of state. I have never met a more dedicated person who works in a hospitality field. Gina is the definition of “going above and beyond” — even meeting us to tour the space on her day off last minute, so we were able to take the big leap in deciding this was our future wedding venue. She puts her entire heart in listening to her couples, understanding their vision, and bringing their dreams to life. And now to the part of the magical touches… this space is truly one that people are passionate to work for. Everyone who works in the space takes time to learn who their patrons are, so much so, that my husband and I has several interactions with the owners Mary Lou and Tim of the Inn before the wedding even occurred. The Hermitage Inn is not just a space where they churn guests in and out… the waiters to the bartenders to the check in staff all knew who we were, and did everything in their power to make the day special. On the day of the wedding, Tim personally delivered lunch to the bridal party and grooms party. The day after the wedding, when picking up our decorations to bring home, Tim himself was walking the grounds and taking care of some landscaping on his own in the quiet hours of the morning. It’s moments like that where you realize you are receiving first class service without the impersonal aspect of larger hotel and venues. On the wedding day itself, everyone was available to help where needed. I was looked in the eye, asked what I needed, and was never made to feel alone or out of sorts. Gina herself took our vision and DIY table settings, flowers, and glassware, and within hours had her entire staff create the space into the vision that we wanted. Lucky for us, we got married in the month of October, so the Hermitage Inn already was decorated with beautiful flowers, pumpkins, and corn stalks to provide additional ambience. The food… my husband and I have eaten at the Inn’s restaurant multiple times, and you are truly in for a treat. The high quality, amazing flavors, are exactly what you are served at your private event as well. I could go on and on about the amazing experience we had with the Hermitage Inn. So many of my guests stated… “this place is like a postcard.” We could not be more impressed with the attention and care we received with our wedding event. Even with a wedding of 30 guests, we were able to have an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception in the gorgeous Birches dining room. We highly recommend this space for a future event or even a weekend away in Southern Vermont. It is now a place where we call ‘home.’ Thank you Tim, Mary Lou, Gina, and the entire staff of the Hermitage Inn for making our day one we will never forget!

FRE exceeded our expectations for a wedding venue. We got married on a Saturday in September 2025. Had around 100 guests. We felt like the staff carried out the day seamlessly. They were so accommodating and responsive. The food and drinks were excellent. They treated our guests so well—to the point where many people (like I’m talking 15 people separately) said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. The hotel rooms were lovely and it was soooo amazing to have people able to stay onsite. We had an after party downstairs in their restaurant and people were raving about how fun it was. We were worried it wouldn’t be worth it to invest in a big wedding, but we were wrong! It was awesome and I have literally nothing but rave reviews for FRE.

My husband and I got married at the top of Mount Snow last September and it was such the perfect spot! At the time, the resort was only having full weddings down at the bottom but since we only wanted our ceremony there they suggested a few spots at the top of the mountain so we could have a beautiful overlook. We had about 30 people overall. Kate Rideout, our contact at Mount Snow, was the best! She communicated so quickly and was extremely helpful with planning. Since it wasn't an official site for them she helped me with the lift tickets, timing of it all, and even organized a champagne toast at the bullwheel. Before the big day she took us to the top to look around and pick the spot as well. Kate went above and beyond to help us plan and we couldn't be more thankful. On our big day, all the staff members were aware of our unofficial event and went out of their way to make sure all our guests made it up the mountain and knew where to go. Although the spot was not "reserved", people were extremely nice and let us use the chosen spot for our ceremony. It wasn't a problem at all to have random people at the summit! If you want a small intimate ceremony location with a beautiful backdrop this is a perfect option.
