Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (101 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Glade Spring, VA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Flower Moxie provided great options for access to specialty flowers to utilize at my wedding. With great communication following floral delivery, and provided further instructions to ensure preservation of the roses at delivery. I was stunned with how well the roses lasted from being delivered 2 days prior to the wedding and lasting for 2-4 days following the wedding. Blue Delphinium was the least impressive, and I was not pleased. Sad. Wilting and unable to hydrate. I was not impressed. I ordered: Orange Free Spirit Garden Roses (50 Stems, 3.60/stem) and Light Blue Delphinium (50 Stems, 3.00/stem) and spent 354.”

“I can't say enough good things about Jessica and Fleurish & Bloom! Throughout the entire planning process she was organized, detailed, communicative, and super knowledgeable about how to bring my floral vision to life. She was flexible with changes I wanted to make and had great ideas for how to incorporate all of the colors and flowers I wanted to include in my bouquets AND helped me get the most out of my floral budget. On my wedding day she greeted me with my GORGEOUS bouquet and her kind, calm demeanor. The florals at my ceremony site were exactly as we discussed, if not better, and she even made sure to add a few extra flower to the signs, which made everything look very cohesive. She repurposed all the ceremony flowers to my reception space without compromising quality, and again did a fantastic job executing my vision for our table flowers and candles. I have had SO many people remark on how stunning the florals were, and I have to completely agree. I couldn't have imagined better!”

I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. My goal for every client is to have a memorable floral planning experience, adding to the joy of the upcoming wedding event.

“Working with Annette from I Do Weddings With Love was a bit of a mixed bag, with our biggest gripe being communication being hit or miss at times - but we shall just assume that's just the nature of running a busy floral business. HOWEVER, the quality of her work was truly amazing. The bouquets, boutonnières and our ceremonial arch were absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. She ensured that our requests were incorporated seamlessly, her attention to detail was spot on, and made adjustments as needed leading up to the big day. Committing to work with her to take on floral decorations was like taking a leap of faith which was slightly nerve wrecking at times - we are so glad we did. Annette, if you ever get to see this know I wish I could have hugged you and shared all of this personally - but THANK YOU!”

Honeysuckle Farm is a small flower farm and design studio located in Madison County, VA. We provide arrangements for weddings, events, and special occasions. Our arrangements feature locally and American grown blooms and we practice a sustainable, foam-free approach to floral design.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Many amazing qualities - from the sustainable use of in-season plants, aromatic plants, and willingness to help transform bridesmaids bouquets to center-pieces post ceremony, I couldn't recommend Honeysuckle Farm enough. What I appreciated even more was her flexibility in working with my budget - while several florists in the area turned me down when I wasn't able to meet larger minimums, Honeysuckle Farms listened to my priorities list and crafted an offer tailored to what I most wanted. Totally transparent pricing and high-quality work. Florals were not my priority, so we didn't communicate too frequently. When we did speak Honeysuckle was kind, considerate, and showed she was thoughtful and deliberate in questions/responses. I think the communication quantity would have changed if I had more specific requests or a larger purchase. My jaw DROPPED when I saw the wedding arch she made for me. This was far beyond my wildest dreams and (I felt) a REALLY good price. Would recommend Honeysuckle to anyone, but particularly for folks who aren't looking to spend 5k for bouquets and basics***(obviously pricing is based on market and seasonality).”
