Our wedding day on August 19, 2023 at The Venetian Terrace was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped onto the premises to the final gondola exit, every detail was executed flawlessly. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue for our ceremony and reception. This was the only wedding venue we viewed and we put a deposit down the very next morning. Laura McMasters, the wedding coordinator, deserves a standing ovation. Her professionalism, friendliness, and expertise made the entire planning process a breeze. She was always ready to accommodate our requests and ensured that every aspect of our special day was tailored to our vision. Laura's warm and respectful demeanor made working with her a joy, and her meticulous attention to detail truly paid off. We began planning our wedding only 3 months before the big day, and Laura was instrumental in ensuring that our wedding went perfectly. The outdoor setting for our ceremony was breathtaking. Surrounded by the natural beauty of The Venetian Terrace and the surrounding Mandalay Canal, we exchanged vows under the open sky, which added an enchanting touch to the moment. The gondola exit was an absolute showstopper and left our guests in awe. It was a picturesque conclusion to our ceremony, and the Venetian-inspired ambiance added an unforgettable touch of romance. The reception venue itself was a work of art. The elegant decor, the beautiful greenery, and the spacious layout made it the perfect backdrop for our celebration. We received countless compliments from our guests about the stunning setting, and it truly set the mood for an unforgettable evening. Now, let's talk about the food. The salmon and beef tenderloin were culinary delights. The quality and taste exceeded our expectations, and our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious meal. The attention to detail in the presentation did not go unnoticed, and it added an extra layer of sophistication to our reception. Overall, The Venetian Terrace provided us with the wedding of our dreams. It was a day filled with love, joy, and unforgettable memories, thanks in no small part to Laura and the entire team at this remarkable venue. I cannot say enough good things about Glory House! The venue is gorgeous. It has so much charm and the ambience was perfect in every way! The food was amazing- both beautiful and delicious! The service was stellar! Jo Ann Goin, the owner, clearly has a spirit of excellence that shines through every detail. I got married in March 2024 after working with Newshaw (wedding planner), Jenny Layne Bakery (cake), Christina with Emily Chappell Productions (photography), Michael with CoHost Entertainment (DJ), Lyons Paperie (save the dates and invitations), Hannah with Design Haus (florals), and the Hidden Pines catering team. This vendor team is all in-house through Walters Wedding Estates and I had such a smooth and flawless experience. Because they all work so closely together, I was able to enjoy the wedding planning process and not stress about how vendors would work together. Communication was easy as each vendor was responsive to emails or texts, and they provided such detailed answers to ANY question I had. I know a lot of brides stress about planning a wedding, so I was expecting to experience high levels of stress. But no - this was a breeze and I couldn't recommend this team and venue enough :) Thank you all!!!
