About this venue

Boyd Farm is a historic one-of-a-kind getaway nestled in North Dallas, close to Rockwall’s historic downtown district, Lavon Lake and just 30 minutes from downtown Dallas. We are located on 45 acres of natural beauty with breathtaking views, which is a rare find here in Dallas. Our farm has The Venue at Boyd Farm, a music pavilion for concerts & events, and five luxury 2-bedroom cabins available for rent for events as well as a one or two night getaway. The Venue at Boyd Farm is an expansive and beautiful venue, accommodating up to 500 guests inside or unlimited outside! Boyd Farm has multiple ceremony spaces on property, such as our expansive patio overlooking the entire farm, or in our tree lines overlooking one of our 3 ponds. Our spaces are perfect for weddings, engagement parties, baby showers, corporate events, fundraisers, galas, rehearsal dinners and much more!

Our venue manager is here to make your experience at the venue is seamless during your event. They will meet you for your final details meeting before the event day and will be your point of contact for the venue on your event day. Should you have any questions throughout your planning process, please reach out to them through your event portal.
No, we do not offer a day of coordinator. We do highly recommend hiring one to help make your event go as seamless as possible.
Sixty days from your event, The Venue Manager will reach out to confirm rehearsal day availability with you. We cannot guarantee that it will be the day before your event, but will confirm that time/date 60 days before.
Yes! We have four 2-bedroom luxury cabins on property that you absolutely can rent, upon availability! Please reach out to the Venue Manager through your event portal if you are interested in renting.
We provide use of one of our 2-bedroom cabins for the use for the event day during the time of your rental. This cabin is not available for overnight rental, as our events on days before and after yours will have access to that cabin as well. We do have four other 2 bedroom luxury cabins on property that are available to rent for an overnight stay. Please see your venue manager for rental details.
We do not require you to use our preferred vendors, but we highly encourage you to do so! There are vendors we have vetted and worked with and will provide excellent services for your event. You are more than welcome to bring in your own vendors, but they must be approved by our team (have a legal business and insurance) prior to your wedding day.
