Pam's Petals

5.0

Lititz, PA

I grew up running around after my mom in her gardens and spent most of high school in the art department. I went off to design school and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Soon after, I started my first “real” design job and have been working in the industry in either commercial or residential design ever since, giving me thirty-five years of design experience. A second related career in Floral Design was added to my skill set when I was employed as a part-time floral designer and trained at Longwood Gardens. I decorated twenty-one Christmas trees that year and did a lot of beautiful custom designs.

I had the pleasure of working with Pam for my wedding, and I can confidently say that she is a gem of a florist. From the very beginning, Pam demonstrated a level of care and dedication that truly set her apart. What immediately struck me was Pam's commitment to ensuring that every aspect of the floral arrangements aligned with my vision. Pam took the time to listen to my ideas and preferences, incorporating them seamlessly into the stunning floral displays. What's even more impressive is her genuine concern for her clients' budgets. Pam not only provided reasonable prices for her exquisite creations but also went the extra mile by suggesting cost-effective alternatives without compromising on the overall aesthetic. Pam's transparency in her pricing was a breath of fresh air. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, she presented me with various options, allowing me to make informed decisions that suited both my taste and budget. However, what truly sets Pam apart is her personal touch. The petal party she hosted for my bridesmaids in her studio remains one of the most cherished memories of my wedding weekend. Pam created a warm and inviting atmosphere where my bridesmaids crafted their own basket bouquets. The experience was elevated by Pam's delicious spread of food and, hands down, the best peach sangria I've ever tasted. Pam's Petals is not just a florist; it's an experience. Pam's passion for her craft, coupled with her genuine care for her clients, made my wedding weekend truly memorable. Thank you, Pam, for turning my floral dreams into a beautiful reality and for adding that extra touch of magic to my special day. I wholeheartedly recommend Pam's Petals to anyone seeking a florist who goes above and beyond to make your wedding moments unforgettable.

    Terra Florals

    5.0

    Spring Grove, PA
    • Starts at $2,000

Loni and the team at Terra Florals provide brides with the best flowers in the mid-Atlantic. When folks who know Loni think of flowers... they think of her. She and her husband are the founders of Terra Florals, the region's premier cut flower farm. Folks come from across the country to visit the farm's huge cut flowers fields and stay at the on-farm bed and breakfast. With legendary design skills and a massive following, Loni leads design classes, coaches local growers and provides flowers for many of the area's florists and designers. Even if her calendar is too full to build your dream wedding florals... be sure to demand her flowers.

Loni with Terra Florals is one of my very favorite vendors to work with! Not only does she create the most breathtaking floral designs, but she's also one of the kindest, most thoughtful souls you'll ever meet. From the moment you step foot at Terra Farms, you can see and feel the passion and love she pours into her flowers. The flower fields are stunning, and her U-Pick, where you can pick your own flowers, is perfect for bridal parties or just a day out with friends. If you need flowers for your wedding, Terra Florals is the place to go!

    Fiddlestix Florals and Wedding Coord

    5.0

    Gettysburg, PA
    • Starts at $1,500

My earliest memories are always centered around picking flowers in my mothers gardens. I would grab one of the glass bottles she collected and play around with any flowers I could find. Flower design is my passion. My shop is located in our 150 year old barn that in itself is full of character. I try to be a vendor who is easy and fun to work with. I am human and understand money does not grow on trees so I try my hardest to work within the client's budget. Each bouquet I create tells a story, each unique beautiful.

We used Locaflora for our micro wedding and our reception a year later. The florals were absolutely stunning. I cried when I saw them for the first time because Becca couldn’t have made them any more perfect. I also loved how personable Becca is and how I could go to her for anything and she would be willing to work through any last minute or minute changes with me. I can’t recommend Locaflora enough!

    Splints & Daisies

    5.0

    Mountville, PA
    • Starts at $4,000

Tara has been a long time flower lover and plant geek. Growing up she was a rambunctious toddler and decided to get a head start in the horticulture industry by eating her mothers house plants. This mostly resulted in the poison control center being called repeatedly, but also instilled in her the love of all things "green and growing". She has had her hands in the dirt and been playing with flowers her whole life. With an art background in her family, florals became her artistic expression.

Tara, owner of Splints & Daisies, is truly one of the best wedding florists in Central PA to work with! Not only is she a fun person to be around, but her creative and unique floral creations are always wowing us and our clients! We have worked with Tara since we opened in 2014 and she has collaborated with us for multiple open houses & special events to showcase our venue and ALWAYS goes above and beyond with floral displays & installs. Her visions are one-of-a-kind and always delivers! We also love that she sources her flowers locally and uses sustainable supplies (in an industry where waste is real, she makes a conscious effort to do her part to help avoid waste!). Our couples & clients that we refer to Tara are always blown away by her floral creations and are so happy that they chose Splints & Daisies for their day!

We absolutely loved working with Carol! She took our color palette and ran with it. Our gazebo arrangement stayed fresh and beautiful despite. 90 degree day. She was attentive through the whole planning process and day of wedding. The night before the wedding, she offered to make an additional piece for our memory table and fill the bridesmaid bouquets more! You can tell that Carol loves what she does and we couldn’t have been more happy with our fall arrangements! We also love that she grows her own florals on site and only orders what she can’t grow. Definitely go local and book Carol for your wedding. You won’t be disappointed!

I'm Doreen, the owner of Heritage Flower Design. I've been styling and designing florals for weddings since 2018. I’m a mom of three boys, who are now grown and have their own families. I’m blessed with three beautiful daughters-in-law who help me with larger events. And, my three little granddaughters are my joy! I want this business to be a heritage for them! I could not do what I do without the support of my husband, Mark! He’s the guy who carefully loads all the flowers and makes sure I have everything I need on your wedding day! We are truly a family team at Heritage Flower Design and we can't wait to serve you!

I can only say wonderful things about my experience with Doreen as my wedding florist! Walnut Hill Creations

    5.0

    Millersville, PA
    • Starts at $1,800

I am a farmer’s wife, momma to four plus two in-laws, and mammaw to three. I have been around flowers my entire life and have always had a love and passion for putting different types of flowers together to create unique designs. Much of my learning started in my grandmother’s flower gardens many years ago. Over time, I enjoyed treating friends and family members to special flower arrangements and assisted in some wedding designs. My passion was put on hold a bit to raise our four children and support our family’s farm. Now that our children are grown, I pursued my dreams to own a flower business.

Not only are Walnut Hill Creations floral arrangements absolutely stunning, but Shelly is wonderful to work with! She really takes pride in creating exactly what you wish for, and she is very friendly, personable, and professional. She delivers exactly what she promises, and on time, too! Highly recommend and easy to work with!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

    5.0

    Oklahoma City, OK
    • Serves Gap, PA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

    Awarded Best of Zola
I would recommend Flower Moxie to EVERYONE! My wedding was on a Wednesday and I do think it would've been better if we'd been able to get the flowers on Sunday instead of Monday, but everything still worked out. Everyone said how beautiful they were and both Abigail and Amy we're SO helpful the whole time. Abigail especially stood by me through my many iterations and was so patient and kind. I wish they didn't have a $350 minimum because now I want to create arrangements for myself all the time! Alas, I shall have to stick with grocery flowers until they come up with a subscription box that allows me to create my own arrangements. (Hint hint, FM, please make this happen!) Can't wait to get my photos so I can tag FM all over the place! I am now drying my flowers with silica gel so I can do resin projects with them as well!!! Can't speak highly enough of Flower Moxie and I can't wait for my next event or to help someone else by doing their flowers with the help of Flower Moxie!!! <3

    Bloom Culture: Do-it-yourself Wedding Flowers

    5.0

We have pre-made DIY Flower Collections or you can get a custom design with our FREE online quote or chat with us one on one for more guidance!

As my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we joked that our loose theme would be “flowers and love.” We knew we wanted lots of beautiful, lush florals as the primary decor focus, and also knew we didn’t want to spend the many thousands of dollars to achieve that look with a standard florist. If you’re in the same boat, and have an appetite for some DIYing, I’d STRONGLY recommend working with Bloom Culture. After some Googling for DIY wedding florals, I came across Bloom Culture and spoke with Allison for a custom consultation. During the call, Allison helped me express the type of floral look we were going for, and built out a custom floral package that would achieve it. She also laid out the delivery and prep process, and we landed on a final package and timeline for delivery. We received a LARGE box of flowers the week before the wedding and were immediately pleased with the quantity and quality of flowers we had received. Allison’s guide mentioned that some crushed or damaged blooms would be completely normal, but everything was so well packaged we didn’t notice more than a few damaged stems. From there, the DIYing began. Between unpacking, trimming, de-thorning, trimming again, building bouquets, arrangements, boutonnieres, etc, etc, it was a LOT of work. However, we referenced Allison’s guides (written, video tutorials) religiously and they laid out everything perfectly. She strongly recommends having plenty of assistants -- pay attention to this advice! Find a few trusted friends or family members who have time and artistic ability and it will make all the difference in your stress levels. The flowers all lasted beautifully for the wedding and we received so many compliments on how they looked. Allison - thank you for everything!

Jen came to our rescue and helped make our wedding everything we wanted, and more! We were in dire straights without a coordinator weeks before our wedding, and Jen immediately answered our SOS call and continued to be communicative and thoughtful throughout our time working together. She pulled together all the millions of pieces and got our non-responsive vendors in line, and having her and Ashley at the helm mitigated so much stress--even when our reception area was flooded! Would definitely recommend Jen & team for wedding coordination or anything else!

    Fairy Meadow Flowers

    Hamden, CT
    • Starts at $4,500
    • Serves Gap, PA

My name is Isabelle, and I grow chemical free, regenerative flowers and herbs on 3/4 of an acre in Hamden, CT. I truly love working on these blooms from start to finish, and I hope to get to share some of the beauty with you on your special day.

    Awarded Best of Zola
My husband Kevin and I got married in Simsbury, CT on 10/15/22 and had the most perfect day imaginable. This was in large part thanks to Isabelle and Unison. When we first started planning our wedding, we sought out to find as many LGBTQ vendors as possible, so finding Fairy Meadow (based out of our beloved neighborhood, at the time) was a true dream come true. I can't begin to express how easy the whole process was, from start to finish. When we first spoke over the phone, we shared our budget, a bare bones vision for our florals (dahlias, dahlias, and more dahlias!!!) and Isabelle took it from there. What we were greeted with upon entering the tent on our big day, was truly picture perfect. THE COLORS. The florals that Isabelle grows in her own backyard are truly mind boggling. Our guests are STILL commenting on how beautiful they are--especially because we sent a sample off to have professionally pressed (through a recommendation utilized directly from Isabelle). If you are looking for a local team who is passionate about growing sustainably and prioritizes communication, collaboration, and remembers what this business is all about, truly look no further. We truly can't recommend Isabelle and Unison enough. It was a dream to work with them, and I wish we could do it over and over again :)

    Crooked Fence Farm

    5.0

    • Serves Gap, PA

Crooked Fence Farm is a family operation in Parkton, MD operated by Sarah and Billy McCarthy and supported by a skilled and dedicated team. We specialize in sustainable and seasonally grown blooms that will delight for any special occasion. Sarah is a former professional pastry chef with extensive experience in wedding and special event management. Uniting this expertise with our passion for sustainable growing practices, Crooked Fence Farm is the ideal option for an authentic, skillful, and magical floral component of your next event.

We can’t thank Sarah's team enough for creating such gorgeous florals and installations, even with a rain delay and plan B fully in effect. We appreciated her ability to ‘bring the outside in’ and it really felt like that. Sarah went above and beyond to make our floral dreams come true, all while respecting our budget and working hard to give us what we wanted. We loved supporting her business and her farm and working with her was a great experience with her positive attitude, passion, and vast knowledge of both florals and wedding planning. I wish I had more time to just stare at all of the little floral details at our wedding. The white ceremony columns with the white urns on top truly looked like an art installation; they were stunning. They were the perfect backdrop to our ceremony. THE STAIRCASE. I have never heard so many compliments. It was DREAMY. The tiny vines that spun around the railing. The ivy. The floral focal point at the bottom. It was better than I could have even imagined. It also smelled amazing and was the perfect place to do the wedding toasts, it will live forever in our videos and photos! The mantle installations also looked amazing (again something I wish I had more time to look at!!). THE PEONIES. It’s official that our wedding had a signature scent and it was PEONY! Which was also fitting since I wore peony perfume that day so now peonies will forever remind me of our wedding day which is so exciting for me because I love them. THE CENTERPIECES were perfect floating masterpieces just like I imagined. The combination of florals Sarah put together was classic but with an abstract/ organic twist and I loved all of the different unique buds in each one. The BOUQUETS turned out so beautiful. I loved how they were different but complimented each other so well. The shapes were so fun and you really got to see the color contrast which was perfect. 10/10 recommend working with Sarah for your wedding! (photos via @morganshootsfilm)

My passion for flowers and plants started when I was a child. Growing up in the middle of nowhere was the best thing to allow my imagination to flourish. The school day would end and I would be rushing off the bus to help my grandparents plant seedlings or pick the harvest from the garden. My parents had flower beds and brought the beautiful flowers inside to enjoy as well. I am passionate about being able to replicate flower gardens into a gorgeous design but also creating a unique design just for your day!

She has such a natural talent for floral arrangements and everything she creates is absolutely gorgeous. My wedding flowers were perfect and more beautiful than I could have imagined. Melissa took my ideas and ran with them, creating unique and beautiful arrangements. She even thought of small details like drying the stems of our bouquets and providing extra vases to display the bouquets at the reception. She was very responsive, flexible and kept me informed where she was in the process of preserving the bouquet. I picked it up today and I am blown away, along with everyone I’ve shown, with how it turned out! It’s truly a piece of art and they are so beyond talented! I absolutely love my serving tray and now I’ll have this beautiful keepsake to always remember and treasure that day!

    Yours Truly Florals
    Hagerstown, MD
    • Serves Gap, PA

In 2016, I started looking for creative alternatives to fresh flowers. I saw an advertisement for WOOD flower arrangements and was intrigued. I quickly ordered a centerpiece and when it arrived, I was so amazed by the product that I took the flowers apart to see how they were made. It was fascinating to me that someone would think to use the wood from a plant to make flowers. Fast forward a couple months and I started ordering raw undyed flowers, dove in headfirst, and fell in love! By using WOOD flowers, we are able to custom dye & arrange them to give a bride more versatility. I am so honored to be a small part of a bride’s special day!

    Plant Box Co

    5.0

    Manchester, PA
    • Starts at $1,200

Plant Box Co is a small women owned business located in Manchester, PA. The cornerstone of our business is hospitality. We own a houseplant cafe, and we're full service florists. We're plant specialists, with a deep love of greenery and adding live plants to events.

Plant Box Co was phenomenal to work with! I met them first at a wedding planning event. I described what I was hoping for (simple, incorporating our wedding colors) and the first mark up Brina sent was perfect. I really hadn’t been able to pin point what I had hoped to have and she absolutely nailed it. Brina and her team did my bridal flowers, as well as flowers for our immediate family (boutonnière and corsages). On our wedding day, when they delivered the flowers to our venue, she even helped me get my shoes on! Fantastic service. Super easy to work with. They went above and beyond my expectations and I’d whole heartedly recommend their service!
