Tara has been a long time flower lover and plant geek. Growing up she was a rambunctious toddler and decided to get a head start in the horticulture industry by eating her mothers house plants. This mostly resulted in the poison control center being called repeatedly, but also instilled in her the love of all things "green and growing". She has had her hands in the dirt and been playing with flowers her whole life. With an art background in her family, florals became her artistic expression.

Flowering since 2000, Splints & Daisies uses local blooms during the growing season, subbing with domestically grown flowers as needed and in the off-season. Our small but mighty gesture actually puts a dent in the millions of imported blooms for events, which cause havoc on the environment in so many ways. We avoid all bleached, painted, and dyed product, running from the trends, so that our flowers can be safely composted vs tossed in the landfill. We use NO floral foam. Floral foam is a single-use plastic, and is toxic. It also is here forever: it will never decompose.

Splints & Daisies was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding florals. From the very beginning, Tara had open communication, fast response times, and a clear understanding of what we were looking for. Her artistic and stylistic approach resulted in florals that were whimsical, organic, and truly unique. Tara fully grasped our vision - I shared my Pinterest board with her and she delivered florals that exceeded my expectations. The colors blended beautifully with our decor, and the overall look was simply magical (fairytale vibes). Splints & Daisies stayed within our budget and ensured every floral need for our special day was met. We couldn't be happier with the quality of their work and highly recommend her to any couple planning their wedding.

I wish we could give ten stars. If you have the chance to use Splits and Daisies, don’t think twice. Book them!! Tara and her team are amazing. She transformed my ideas and thoughts into a reality. They completely out did themselves and gave us more than we expected. From the bud vases to the flower towers, and center pieces everything was thoughtfully done. She even hand delivered my bouquet to me the morning of our wedding. She’s such a talented artist!! We received compliment after compliment about the florals. The fact that she is environmentally friendly was also a huge plus, she doesn’t use a bunch of chemicals and florist foam, which was important to us. If you are still considering booking, DO IT!! You will be so happy! The florals were a HUGE highlight to our day.

Tara, owner of Splints & Daisies, is truly one of the best wedding florists in Central PA to work with! Not only is she a fun person to be around, but her creative and unique floral creations are always wowing us and our clients! We have worked with Tara since we opened in 2014 and she has collaborated with us for multiple open houses & special events to showcase our venue and ALWAYS goes above and beyond with floral displays & installs. Her visions are one-of-a-kind and always delivers! We also love that she sources her flowers locally and uses sustainable supplies (in an industry where waste is real, she makes a conscious effort to do her part to help avoid waste!). Our couples & clients that we refer to Tara are always blown away by her floral creations and are so happy that they chose Splints & Daisies for their day!

i knew i wanted splints & daisies to be the florist for my wedding before i was even engaged. they are so incredible that i didn't need to give them much direction for what i wanted. i had high hopes for my wedding flowers (my husband would tell you i was more excited for our florals than the actual wedding itself) but splints & daisies exceeded my expectations. if you'd like to cry about your flowers on your wedding day, i cannot recommend splints & daisies enough.
