Hidden in the beautiful Piney Woods of East Texas, we are located on the edge of the untouched Sam Houston National Forest, where we have carved out an amazing space to give your wedding an authentically magical setting. We have three huge, connected Nordic Tipis with an elevated hardwood dancefloor, hand-built poplar banquet tables, an indoor stage, and staging areas for buffet, sit down catering, and bar service. Built for the Richard S. Willis family in 1854. Hodge Podge Lodge was originally called "Melrose" in memory of an estate owned by his ancestors in Scotland. The home started as a four room, story and a half house with a detached kitchen. Throughout the house, one can trace the outline of the original footprint by noticing the wide plank flooring in the parlor, formal dining room and library. During the civil war era the massive lawn, with huge oak and pecan trees, quickly became a favorite place for many young people in town for picnics and family gatherings. It is on these same grounds that we invite you and your loved ones to celebrate life’s memorable occasions.

Willowynn Barn is located in the small town of Santa Fe Texas, 25 miles from Galveston and 30 miles south of Houston Texas. Our farmhouse wedding and event venue holds up to 200 guests and is located on 18 acres of private property with a chapel and many other outdoor ceremony sites to choose from. The Barn has an all white interior with a beautifully designed bridal suite and an amazing grooms room, each having their own private garden areas to enjoy. The Barn also has a full catering kitchen, a veranda for cocktail hour and we even have a on-site shot donkey to entertain your guests!!
