    Excellent Wedding Venue

    When our wedding plans were canceled for out of the country during COVID we turned to South Shore Harbor for assistance. They went above and beyond to give us the wedding we wanted! The entire staff assisted us with all our needs and our wedding was a success! We highly recommend South Shore Harbor for any event you are hosting.

Yes, South Shore Harbor Resort and Conference Center allows guests to pay for their overnight accommodations in cash. When planning to pay cash, we require a credit card to have on file to cover the room rate, tax, and incidentals for the entire stay. If you pay cash at checkout, it will take 3-5 business days for the authorization to release from your credit card.
South Shore Harbour Resort is located 30 minutes outside of downtown Galveston.
We are a 5 minute drive from the Kemah Boardwalk.
The closest airports to us are Hobby Airport, HOU, (20 miles) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport, IAH, (47 miles).
NASA is very close by, only 10 minutes from the hotel.
Yes we do! The South Shore Harbour Fitness Center is available to guests, but not on site.
No it isn’t. But the pool is open year round for swimming; weather permitting of course. To learn more about the Oasis pool, visit www.sshr.com/oasis-pool.
We have live entertainment on Fridays in the Lighthouse Bistro from 6pm-9pm starting in May. We have live entertainment at Oasis pool starting Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend, Saturday & Sunday from 2pm-6pm.
Our hotel only allows service animals.
We do not have a boat launch. However, the closest one is under the FM 270 bridge; which is 5 minutes from the property.
Yes, our brunch is served on Sundays from 10am to 2pm, and on most Sundays we have a Pianist.
