About this venue

Beauty and the Beach is a beachfront wedding venue with a working lighthouse on the Bolivar Peninsula in Crystal Beach, Texas. Celebrate with up to 200 guests at our outdoor ceremony gazebo and covered reception area. Choose Ceremony Only, Ceremony + Reception, or add two lighthouse nights for up to 12 overnight guests, with optional RVs for up to 12 more. Tables, chairs, white linens and setup assistance are included according to your package and guest count. Bring your own licensed caterer, planner, officiant, DJ and photographer. Eligible Monday-Thursday wedding packages are 50% off the applicable standard rate, excluding actual and observed federal holidays. Pricing varies by season and guest count. Reserve your dates with a separate $500 deposit, refundable when you cancel at least 60 days before the event. Check exact prices, availability and self-guided outdoor tour hours on our website. Federal holidays use standard rates. December-February has the lowest rates; March and November have separate shoulder rates; April-October is peak season. Prices depend on date and guest count. A separate $500 refundable reservation deposit is required.

    We had an absolutely beautiful wedding here! The staff was super responsive and sweet. You cannot beat the view and the blue paint downstairs makes you POP in the pictures. 10/10

    We had a wonderful stay at Bolivar Peninsula Beauty and the Beach Wedding Venue! The property was beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for our family gathering. The beach setting was absolutely gorgeous, and everything made our stay feel special and memorable. Highly recommend!

    It’d be nice if they responded to an email inquiring about the property and wanting to tour it. But they just ignore you for weeks. Their phone number is an ai person which is dumb.

    Katie, I emailed you screenshot of all the replies you got same or next day and got no reply. AI receptionist helps with screening marketing calls, scheduling tours, answering pricing or venue availability questions and forwarding everything else to human receptionist. This helps us keep prices affordable.

    Such an absolutely gorgeous place for such a reasonable price. The bartender Tiana you can add on goes above and beyond as well. She was one of the highlights of our night, she was so much fun! The decorations and team were exceptional, the place both inside and out were beyond what we even imagined. This place is breathtaking and it made our wedding so memorable in the very best way. We couldn't have asked for a better experience honestly. I would recommend as a tip for everyone to have and use bug spray. They do try very hard to battle mosquitos but this is an island thats moist and humid and they cannot help it. As long as you have some OFF all is well. This for us was not at all an issue nor did it take away from our experience, we just used spray. I just want to say Thank You to all of the people that helped make this happen and for the hosts of the venue to allow us to use this stunning venue for our big day. They even have an elevator for elderly or disabled, this also came in handy for heavy luggage. I would recommend this to any and everyone. 5/5 on all scales. (Our wedding was on June 25th 2026.)

Yes. Bring your own alcohol and other drinks. If you serve alcohol, a TABC-certified bartender and qualified on-site security are required. You may hire your own bartender or request our optional four-hour bartender service for $399. You arrange and pay for security separately.
Yes. We have a large on-site parking lot for wedding guests and a separate service area for vendors. Self-parking is included. If your route includes the Galveston-Port Bolivar ferry, allow extra time for queues, especially on weekends and holidays.
A wheelchair-accessible elevator and outdoor guest restrooms are available. The ceremony and reception areas are outdoors or covered outdoors. Please contact us about specific mobility needs before booking or visiting so we can discuss the route and facilities.
Your selected package includes venue access, tables, chairs, white spandex table linens and setup assistance according to your guest count. You arrange your licensed caterer, planner or day-of coordinator, officiant, DJ with sound equipment, and photographer. Bring plates, napkins, utensils and your chosen flowers or decor. Our team assists with setup but does not run the event or provide wait service.
Ceremony + Reception + Stay includes two lighthouse nights for up to 12 guests, from 3 p.m. the day before the wedding until 11 a.m. the day after. Optional RVs sleep up to six guests each: one RV/one night $199, two RVs/one night $399, one RV/two nights $399, or two RVs/two nights $799. RV nights must fall within your selected lighthouse stay and require team confirmation. Additional lighthouse nights are available by date and availability.
Tours are self-guided outdoor visits, with no appointment and no host or guide. Check the tour calendar on our website before travelling. Check-in and same-day turnover dates offer a guaranteed 11 a.m.-2 p.m. window. Open dates and checkout-only dates are tentative and must be rechecked before the trip because reservations may change. Occupied dates are unavailable. Residential interiors stay closed; view them in our photos.
Reserve with a separate $500 reservation deposit. It blocks your selected dates and becomes a damage deposit at check-in. Cancel at least 60 days before the event for a full refund, including the deposit. If you cancel within 60 days, the $500 deposit is retained and other package payments are refunded. The package balance is due at least 60 days before the event. Your signed agreement and published booking terms govern the reservation.
Receptions end at 10 p.m. Guests who are not staying overnight must leave then. The venue team cleans the outdoor area, collects linens and leaves by 11 p.m. Lighthouse checkout is 11 a.m.
