Working with Forest Picture Co was the highlight of the wedding day, besides the getting married part, of course! They were patient and kind to everyone, took their time collecting the groups for photographs, and even worked with the DJ, and climbed on a ladder to get an epic cold sparkler shot on the dance floor that no one was expecting! They went out of their way, every single chance they got, to make us feel like celebrities on our wedding day. They are truly kind, genuine people who deliver on what they promise. “I cannot say enough good things about this photographer!! I found his site while searching for a photographer in the NOCO area to take some "couples photos" in the mountains to commemorate our elopement. He responded to my inquiry quickly and understood what I was trying to accomplish. His pricing was surprisingly reasonable given the quality of work I saw on his site. The photoshoot went very smoothly. He was really familiar with Rocky Mountain National Park and knew some good spots in the areas we wanted to take pictures. I'm not *at all* comfy or experienced in front of the camera, so I was a little nervy going into it about looking awkward or stiff in the pictures. But Mark made everything feel super comfortable and gave us direction as we went along. When we got the pictures back, I was BLOWN AWAY. They were absolutely stunning. The mountain landscapes in the background looked unreal. And I was extremely pleasantly surprised at how flattering the pictures were of my husband and myself. (I always joke that cameras hate me b/c I can't take a good picture to save my life.) But the pictures from this photoshoot taken by Mark, genuinely, are the most beautiful I've ever seen myself look in a picture. I couldn't be happier with my experience and the pictures I received from Mark. 10 out of 10. 5 stars. HIGHLY, highly recommend!!”

We were lucky to get paired with Jared as our photographer and immediately felt comfortable with him on our virtual planning call. On the day of our wedding he was prompt and had plenty of ideas ready to go, but he was also very open to any ideas we had. He never made us feel rushed at all as you could tell he wanted to take his time to get the shots right. He was patient when necessary, efficient when necessary and always reminded us to let him know if any poses didn’t feel comfortable or natural. We didn’t have a second shooter but you wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at our photos as Jared managed to get great variety in the angles during the ceremony and reception. The photos are beautiful and we are looking forward to framing a few. We got the sneak peak within 2 weeks and the full photo gallery not too long after that. The only critique I have is that the florist we used was incorrectly tagged on the sneak peak instagram post, and wasn’t corrected even though I reached out via direct message and comment. The flowers were beautiful & the correct florist deserved the credit. Overall, I would definitely work with Sound Originals and Jared in particular again in the future.”

“We would highly recommend anyone that is considering working with Tomi. We first heard about him and his work through other online recommendations, and quickly enjoyed the ease of his website and clear offerings. His packages aligned well with our budget and he was so responsive from the start, we knew we were on the right track. We had an engagement photo shoot with him first, and had some rescheduling due to weather. He was so helpful keeping a close eye on the weather and communicating with us to make sure we were all on the same page (because we had a bit of a drive to the location). Day of the shoot, me and my fiancé made the call to keep on schedule, even though it was pretty windy. Little did we know that we would endure insane winds up on the mountain view we picked. We ended up laughing the whole time and having so much fun with it, I think a huge part due to the energy that Tomi brings and his creativity to make things work. We loved the pictures, and even laugh at our hair swirling around in some of the photos. We met with Tomi a few times virtually to talk through our plans, shot lists, wedding day timeline, etc. He led us the whole way, because of course we haven’t planned such an event before. While we did do our homework, he did a great job assigning to us what we needed to think about and plan so he could give us exactly what we wanted in the end. On the day of our wedding, Tomi was prompt and ready to go. He even snagged some images that we may have been in too much of a whirlwind to realize or remember on our own. Our pictures are just stunning, and we have SO many of them. We just loved the creativity, catching the perfect moments, and candid nature of our pictures. Even our guests were having a blast with him, and we’ve had many tell us how cool our photographer was. It was amazing to see our guests connect with him in this way, and I think it made for more awesome snaps as well. He also did a great job with the kiddos, keeping their attention and getting their perfect smiles. Thanks Tomi! 10/10 would recommend.”

My roots are in the Midwest, (I grew up in rural Indiana, went to college at Purdue, and lived in Chicago for 8 years.) but Colorado has stolen my heart. One of my favorite things to do when I'm not turning our home into a jungle by adding yet another plant to my collection is watching the sun rise somewhere from the top of a mountain. My little family, which includes my wife, Jenny, our sweet puppy Daisy, and our two silly, rambunctious cats, Jack and Mabel, have loved turning Denver into our home.
