“Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

Ryan was extremely responsive over email and our phone call before the wedding allowed us to lay out what we wanted the experience to be. In addition to how easy it was to work with them, their performance was spectacular. They were professional, polished and musically phenomenal. Their set list truly sounded like we had hand-picked every song (we only gave them a list of our favorite types of music and they knocked it out of the park). We leveraged the piano player for our ceremony music and it was beautiful and a nice touch at a reasonable price point as an add-on.”

Not only was DJ Shortstop our DJ that night (and did an AMAZING JOB!!) but when I was super nervous before coming out, he calmed my nerves. We had a bit of a shorter wedding day and limited time to set up, but he was great through it all. We had a snafu before our ceremony with our officiant and he was very understanding and helpful about the delay, it really eased my worries. We had a very small venue and his set up was perfect - I never felt cramped even though our dancing space was small. I will be recommending him to all my friends in need of an awesome DJ!”
