We chose Jim because he DJ’d my older brother’s wedding many years ago, and I still remembered how much fun everyone had and how packed the dance floor was that night. When it came time to choose a DJ for our own wedding, he immediately came to mind. Working with Jim was a breeze. He was kind and personable every time we spoke, easy to communicate with, and did a great job incorporating the requests we gave him while still reading the room throughout the night. He did a beautiful job with both our ceremony and reception. The transitions were smooth, he was great on the mic, and the suggestions he gave us throughout the evening were always helpful and well-timed. We felt like we could trust him to keep things moving, which allowed us to just enjoy the night. We had such a great experience working with Jim and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

Night and Day Productions and DJ Jim Kitchen were wonderful to work with. He was the perfect wedding DJ, from the website to the different detail calls ahead of time he made everything easy and put us at ease. During the ceremony he was phenomenal, everything went perfectly and smooth. He continued to go above and beyond helping out with things that weren't even necessarily DJ related to ensure everything went smoothly. I can't speak highly enough about how he did, if anyone is looking for just the right DJ for your wedding, this is the one.

My wife and I could not recommend Jim Kitchen more as a wedding DJ! He did an absolutely fantastic job at our wedding. Throughout the planning process, he was incredibly helpful as we tried to figure out what kind of music we wanted. We are a Christian couple, and in our pre-meeting, he was very conscientious about making sure all music fell within the scope of what we were looking for. He only played clean music, which was very important to us. But we also have a widely eclectic taste in music, and he captured our tastes so well! From 2000-2020s pop, to Motown, to oldies and classic rock, to Irish music, to Christian worship, to country, to Disney… Jim hit it all for us seemlessly. Jim was also incredibly friendly and happy to meet our every request, including making specific announcements throughout the reception. He helped us make wise decisions about the order of events in our reception which worked so wonderfully, because he has so much experience doing weddings. He was also adaptive, and handled some mixups on our end like a pro. As an example, we somehow forgot to tell Jim that my wife’s father wanted to make a speech during the reception, and as soon as he found out, Jim made so seamless a transition to his speech that you would think he was always planning on it. Jim was also incredibly thoughtful, and said lovely things about our ceremony. His services are incredibly well-priced, and he provided both the ceremony and reception music and up lighting. We couldn’t be happier with Night and Day Productions!
