Not only did each item exceed expectations, the communication throughout the processes was unmatched. There was constant updates along the way, with photos of mock ups of each item to ensure the font and words were to my liking, as well as stain options, but they also sent photos so I could see each item coming along, which is helpful for the Type-A bride. They completed almost every item of decor for my big day including table numbers, welcome sign, seating chart, cake toppers, guest sign in cornhole boards, custom cufflinks (with my handwriting for hubby), my dress hanger and the favors. Each piece was stunning and done with precision, detailed, high-quality and meticulous work. And being able to get this work from a veteran owned company was just the bonus. From the moment I first spoke with Nicole, her communication style was effortlessly direct and collected - she made me feel heard about my wants and also offered incredible suggestions to elevate my look. Nicole was very clear about planning and timing (as any incredible wedding vendor should be!), but also had an open ear for understanding my preferences and adjusting my makeup and hairstyle accordingly. She is so incredibly skilled with her makeup and hair brushes and the makeup and truly made me feel so beautiful! The extensions she gave me for my Sunday look lasted through dancing and snow and so much jumping!! Nicole also worked on makeup with my mom, who can sometimes be a tough customer (but Nicole handled it with ease!) and TOTALLY EXCEEDED my mother’s expectations (particularly because she is new to makeup!). On my wedding day, Nicole made me feel like a princess - I felt so confident, and the makeup and hairstyle lasted flawlessly through tears, winter weather, and heavy dancing. Nicole was so adaptable to my changing energy levels and needs, so easy to talk to, and a gem to work with. “Rie was a lifesaver! I had initially reached out to a different vendor in September of 2024 and we had an ongoing conversation while I considered pricing through November. We had a verbal agreement to work together but before she sent me her contract she ghosted me. I thought it was because the holidays were coming up and we all get busy at the end of the year. But mid-January come along, I had not heard back, and I was a little over two months away from my wedding! I reached out to a ton of makeup artists, and Rie was among the first to respond. She was so understanding from the get-go and her kindness paired with her makeup style was what sold me! Immediately, I knew she was who I wanted to work for. Rie provided makeup services for me and five of my six bridesmaids by herself. She was even able to work with me to find time to do a makeup trial despite both our busy schedules (getting married in the off season I'm sure helped). She worked so efficiently and even finished before our scheduled time, and provided us all with little touch up kits. I tend to not wear too much makeup and the same goes for most of my bridesmaids, and Rie was able to take her "natural makeup" style and personalize it to everyone. I only wear makeup on special occasions, and when I do, I tend to be hyper aware of my face and the makeup on it. But Rie's application was so good, that I did not think about the makeup on my face once throughout the ten hour day. The natural makeup style might not be for everyone, the same way full glam is not for me, but if you lean that way, I highly recommend working with Rie!”

“Choosing a wedding venue is one of the biggest decisions you'll make during the planning process and I can confidently say, choosing Swan Lake Caterers was the best decision we made. I’m so excited to write this review so other couples can have a similarly incredible experience! I looked everywhere around the tri-state area from Jersey, to Connecticut, all the boroughs (including Staten Island!!) to all over Long Island. Swan Lake Caterers was actually the first venue I visited, and I fell in love instantly. But, like many brides, I was indecisive. I kept searching, trying to be sure… and after every other tour, I kept coming back to Swan Lake in my heart, I had a feeling it was the one! And it absolutely was. The entire day was seamless, magical, and full of joy. One of the most touching things someone said to me was from my sister. She told me, “So many brides can’t enjoy their wedding day because there’s so much going on but we could see in your face how carefree and happy you were. You were truly having fun” This was in large part due to Swan Lake Caterers allowing me to focus on my husband, family and friends. They gave us peace of mind, beautiful surroundings, and the freedom to be fully present in every moment. The food was out of this world, our guests are still talking about it! Sophia and Charlie really catered to what we wanted and to our guests’ dietary needs! Including three of our vegan family members. The venue itself was picture perfect. It was elegant, romantic, and timeless! One of my guests said it looked like it was out of a Disney movie. Elena, our maitre-d worked with me in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure the decor and vibe was everything we wanted. She knocked it out of the park! Even though it was a little chilly, and started to drizzle, Sophia was in contact with us in the week leading up to it, to make sure everyone was comfortable temperature wise. They were so unimaginably attentive to us! The day of, Elena made sure that even without a rehearsal everything went off without a hitch. Speaking of attentiveness, Jill, my bridal attendant, was simply amazing. She made sure we had drinks in our hand, food on our plates, helped me fix the train on my dress a million and one times. I’m pretty sure they helped one of my guests fix a ripped dress? Seriously. People said it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to! If you're thinking about getting married here, stop thinking and just say YES. I can’t express how incredibly grateful I am to Swan Lake Caterers and would love it for every other couple (and their guests) to have a similar experience!”

“So I was looking for a photographer to do my 35th birthday photoshoot. My birthday was in August and I was looking for someone from May. I couldn't find anyone that was in the price range I was looking for. I didn't know photoshoot was so expensive. Anyhow I decided I wasn't gonna do it again since I can't find a reasonable priced photographer. One of my co worker at the time was getting married and she was telling me about her phoyoshoot for her engagement and how the guy was reasonable and professional and so on. So I asked her for his contact and so on. I messaged him and he gave me his packages and they were the most reasonable since my search. I decided to take a chance with him after seeing the work he did for my co worker and trust me I didn't regret it. Julian was patient and passionate about his craft. My package was 25 pictures and Julian took over 200 pictures. I had fun. After the shoot he sent all the pictures for me to choose the ones I want edited which I couldn't choose just 25 because they were all so good. So I told him I can't choose that small amount . I asked him if I could choose more and he gave me a discount. He said sure. Then I choose about 30 then he said he won't charge me extra he will just give me as a birthday gift. My pictures were clean and eye dazzling. I love them all. Julian went above and beyond for all the small details I wanted to add to my pictures as well. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing photographer. And I would personally use him again. One of my best photoshoot yet.”

“Ana & Jimmy were in a different league from the moment we met them. On our first Zoom, they listened to everything I said about our taste and our vibe… and then gently told me that our beloved saxophonist idea didn’t match anything we had described. They recommended a guitarist instead— and thank goodness, because they were absolutely right. Their planning process was incredibly thoughtful.. and for me, hilarious. Their music surgery? Thorough and genius, and apparently visible to them before you hit submit. Which meant they saw me type things like “Haed pass,” “No thank you,” and “What even is that??” Live. Thankfully, they have incredible senses of humor. They checked in multiple times, did a full site visit, and showed up with a sound team who stayed all night to make sure everything was flawless. They even coordinated our private outdoor first dance with our violinist while sending the music inside to guests — seamlessly. But the reception is where they catapulted into untouchable territory. They don’t just sing and DJ… they perform. Including: * the full, committed N’SYNC “Bye Bye Bye” choreography * A Blink - 182 elder millennial scream-along that transported us back to 2003 * Coming onto the dance floor to hype everyone * Interacting with guests like they’ve known us forever. I don’t dance— and I was on that dance floor all night. Our guests are still texting us about how unreal the band was and we’ve heard “best wedding I’ve ever been to” on multiple occasions. My only genuine disappointment is that the wedding is over and I don’t get to hang out with Ana and Jimmy anymore. Hire AMP DJ/BAND HYBRID. Thank me later”
