Rie is a NYC/Long Island based makeup artist/hair stylist for Beauty, Fashion, Portrait Photography, and Weddings. All the makeup products in Rie's kit are cruelty free. Rie's style is "Natural" and "Feel like yourself but better" makeup look!

Rie has always been really cautious about health and sanitation when applying makeup on clients and she is proudly certified by multiple disinfection and sanitation organizations. All her clients can be assured that they are safe and in good hands!! Rie used to be a professional ballet dancer and has performed with companies in NYC and Canada. Rie enjoys being in nature, photography, and loves taking care of her many house plants. Rie also speaks fluent Japanese.

Working with Rie on my wedding day & trial was so easy and fun! She understood everything that I wanted...that I still wanted to look like me but just better. I loved how she made my curls/waves look so elegant and natural. She was so patient and kind, and I loved having her calming presence with me on my wedding day. Rei made me feel so beautiful for my wedding. My vision was me-but-better and I was so happy with the results. My freckles shined through and the lashes looked so natural that my husband thought I wasn’t wearing any. Rei was great at helping me to vocalize what I wanted and I found the Hair and Makeup trial to be essential. My Mom, MIL, and MOH also had their HMU done and were all so pleased with the results. Everyone looked fabulous all night long, a true testament to Rei’s talent.

Rie is the absolute best, I feel so grateful that I found her in the lead up to our wedding! She was a joy to work with - kind, quick to respond to emails, and totally understood what I was going for. I felt beautiful and like myself on my wedding day - glowy and natural, yet special, elevated and a little glam :) She found perfect shades for my coloring, provided coverage without making me cakey, added subtle volume to my fine hair, and made my eyes pop. Her associate worked with my mom and M-I-L and did an amazing job, too. After my trial with her I felt confident and relaxed going into the big day. Rie is fantastic at what she does and I’d recommend her to anyone!

Rie did an amazing job on my wedding hair and makeup, she is so kind and professional and amazing at her job! She was able to do exactly what I wanted for my wedding. Natural beautiful makeup that stayed looking great all day and night through both heat and some rain. We were all so happy to have her for my special day
