We LOVED the Gaston and were so happy with our experience booking the space for our 2021 spring wedding reception. Because everything is already so beautifully designed you really don’t need many decorations- seriously the photo ops are endless and it’s even more impressive in person! The upstairs room accommodations were a big added perk for our handful of out of town guests to stay the weekend with us and loved that they provide keys to lock up as an added safety precaution. We also chose to book the house next door which gave us extra space/rooms which has a pool table that became a favorite pastime! Communication was great from the second we first visited to tour to the day of our event- Adrienne is an absolute gem! We could not have done it without her!! We completely trusted her and she and was so helpful and genuinely caring about making our day go as smoothly as possible, on top of working with our vendors or providing recommendations to pull off our own unique wedding vision. Maureen was so sweet too, and I appreciated the attention to detail from the day of breakfast to the condition of the entire property- a storm during the week had damaged some of the string lights in the backyard and they were quickly taken care of without us even noticing, and before our guests arrived. It was the perfect venue for our more intimately sized group (we had around 50 people, but could totally accommodate more or less with the right set up). We received so many compliments from guests about the space, especially the dedicated bar area, and I wish we could throw a party there every weekend! If you’re on the fence, just book it now! A great Dallas location that isn’t your typical white barn or industrial wedding venue- We cannot recommend The Gaston enough!

We got married early this April and we were blown away by our wedding coordinator, Melissa. To emphasize my review, I need to give two points of reference: This is my second wedding and my first was at Walt Disney World and their coordinators are top tier. To this day, I still remember the name of my coordinator there because she was so amazing. Melissa absolutely blew that wedding coordinator out of the water. For work, I plan events for groups ranging from 50-100 people and the logistics are very similar to that of a wedding. I have worked with hotel & venue coordinators all across DFW and again, Melissa blew every single one of them out of the water. She anticipates your EVERY need - you will want for nothing on your wedding day and her ability to anticipate any possible scenario before and during your wedding will let you and your fiancée completely enjoy the wedding - you truly don’t have to worry about anything. She is like an extension of your brain, she practically knows what you are going to ask before you even say it. I told her that because I plan events for work, I wanted to “be a guest at my own wedding” and not be worried about day of logistics or feel like I had to coordinate people or time or anything the day of the wedding. Melissa took the reins, I did not have to lift a finger that day and she was always 10 steps ahead. A few specifics that make her stand out and will make a huge impact on the wedding day - She knows weddings inside and out. When it came to planning, she was always patient while I made changes or asked for different variations of certain items. She was budget conscious on the items of the wedding I didn’t want to spend a lot on. Come wedding day, you can tell she has done many weddings and has the experience to back her up. I had an issue with my bustle so Melissa got down and worked on my bustle for a good 20 minutes getting it fixed and making sure it was perfect. She saved me again by having a steamer on hand at the venue and steamed my dress for me because I had forgotten that very important detail! Somehow she managed to do all of this for me while still organizing and managing my fiancé and his groomsmen. She is so unbelievably efficient and knows where to put her time and how to manage people effectively. She was friendly and pleasant with all of the people in our wedding party but was direct and firm when necessary in order to get everything(and everyone) where they need to be in order for things to go smoothly. I could truly never say enough good things about her and she is the difference that should make a bride choose to get married at The Milestone Denton. There really are so many gorgeous venues in the area and The Milestone really is a gem offering an elegant and grand Mansion backdrop while still remaining intimate for smaller wedding parties. The “all inclusive” factor of their packages is what really sold me in the beginning. They offer three different packages - we chose the middle tier option because we already had an officiant and we were arranging our own exit car.. but other than that, the venue offered all of our services besides my hair & makeup. This made the planning process VERY easy. We were very pleased with all of the vendors they are partnered with to fulfill these services. I am beyond impressed (and our guests were too.) Melissa, you are the absolute best and are so so skilled in what you do. Thank you so much for everything!!

With one of the best views in the DFW area, the possibility of fireworks at the conclusion of your wedding, and separate areas for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, you're guaranteed to fall in love with every inch of this picturesque and well cared for venue! The owners, Missy and Dave, put their heart into every event and go above and beyond to see that everything flows stresslessly and with 0 issues. I am a DJ and have done a good 2 dozen events there and I always look forward to returning back "home" when I do--and that's exactly how Missy makes me feel. She is warm, accommodating, and is sure to communicate updates and changes to the whole team of vendors that are present that day. The courtyard is a perfect location for ceremony, cocktail hour, and your reception if you want to give your wedding day an upscale country-rranean vibe.

In the Spring of 2016, our family came together to build this venue in the hopes that we could provide a peaceful place for the most joyful celebrations. We believe that the focus of any celebration should be on the joy you share with the people you love, so we’re here to take care of some of the details. Full access to a storage room packed with decor for your use is included with all rental packages. The Cottage offers multiples rooms and a mirrored salon. The Cabin (dating back to 1905) has been remodeled to serve as a getting ready-space as well. Our Chapel features stained-glass and antique pews. The sides of the chapel can open up to provide the scenery of being outdoors with the convenience of being indoors. The two-story Reception Hall can accommodate up to 250 people. Exposed wooden beams contrast with chandeliers that cast a welcoming glow across the interior. Our venue is located close to modern amenities while still offering a tranquil setting for inspired celebrations.

Our venue has almost a century of history; from a past president frequenting it for hunting, to lifting moonshine through the floor, onto being an assumed Russian spy camp, we enjoy finding out the history of our property! While the building has been around for almost a century ,it has only been a wedding and event venue for the last six years, since opening we have hosted more than 500 events. Our venue features 24 inch thick walls, shell rock and ivy walls, original 1932 doors, along with original Casino Beach 13 foot vintage wood bar, it is sure to wow coupes who are seeking an outdoor event with a historic touch.

Hidden Gardens Venue was absolutely amazing! The owner, Shelly, went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our reception, everything was beautiful and ran smoothly. I definitely recommend this venue!

As you walk into the Little Chapel in-the-Woods you are entering into a tradition. Located on the edge of Texas Woman’s University, the chapel is a secluded sanctuary that has held weddings since September 1939, a few months before its dedication by Eleanor Roosevelt. We have two beautiful ballrooms to host the wedding reception of your dreams! The Chapel attendant is present to set up the chapel for the wedding, set up the sound system and instruct your vendors on usage, and to oversee the facility. They will be happy to provide limited guidance and answer any questions you may have about the rehearsal or processional. If you desire full-scale coordination you are welcome to provide a planner or even a friend with experience to manage the flow of your wedding ceremony.

A unique outdoor bar among the vines, built into the stone wall of the vineyard, is a favorite spot for cocktail hour, or transformed into an icecream or coffee bar. Inside, draping & twinkle lights add a romantic ambiance to the reception room, with an attached covered patio serving as an al fresco dance floor. The secret garden is another magical space for photo ops Your rental includes the use of Magnolia Terrace’s fully-restored vintage home, where you’ll find 2 dressing rooms with private restrooms, a large prep kitchen, indoor bar/buffet area & extra guest bathrooms. Located in charming downtown Frisco with many hotels less than 5 miles away.

We were finally able to have our wedding reception at Magnolia Terrace and it was a delight! Corinne was so understanding and flexible with our wanting to push back our large celebration due to the uncertainty of COVID, and honestly that gave them time to implement some really beautiful upgrades to the venue. Marissa was an absolute pro and had our reception running so smoothly. She was really attentive to get my husband and I drinks and food in between pictures, and honestly having the coordinator included with the rental made things so easy on us. The venue itself is gorgeous-- our photographer couldn't stop pulling us to take pictures in new spots because the inspiration didn't stop coming haha. The fact that a majority of the venue is covered is really awesome (thankfully we had clear skies), and the owners have done such a good job with the attention to detail. It manages to feel really intimate even when you've got 50+ people attending. The dance floor was a great size for our guests who wanted to let loose, but not so overwhelmingly large that it was intimidating. If you're planning an event with under 100 people, this is absolutely the best value in DFW. With the decor, coordinator, and most of the rentals included it took so much off our to-do list that I can't imagine why people get married anywhere else. The location is so surprising-- it's a gorgeous hidden gem in the middle of downtown Frisco. We can't recommend Magnolia Terrace enough!!
