We aren't your typical wedding videographer, we draw from our decades of cinematic experience to create art that utilizes techniques from movie production, commercial production, and documentaries to tell a powerful story. Monday through Friday we shoot food, ads, TV, live events, products videos, documentaries, narrative films, corporate stuff and more. But when the weekend rolls around, we shoot weddings. Our appreciation for directing and videography is rivaled by none. Whether you want something candid and simple or a more elaborately planned wedding video, we'll be there- caffeinated and ready to go! We can now boast that 6 of Chicago’s best videographers are on the Whole Heart Video associate roster. To keep quality high (and to make sure we have back up shooters), we limit the number of weddings accepted to 3 per day.

Any talented wedding videographer can create a 5-minute cinematic wedding film of your wedding but there's so much more to a wedding day than that. That is the most distinguishing feature about my work. While, I craft my videos around the love you share, the fun you have when it's just the two of you as well as the celebration with your family/guests is what makes each story so unique. So, as you'll notice in the examples, no two wedding videos are the same. I customize each wedding video I create to fit the couple I'm working with as well as the flow of the day, which will allow you to relive your day the way that it actually happened!

Ava graduated from The University of Michigan with a BA in film, and now has over seven years of experience as a wedding videographer. Before specializing in weddings, Ava spent three years working in the film industry in New York City, where she mastered the industry standards for both production and post-production. She is deeply committed to creating high quality wedding films and she will do everything she can to capture stunning footage and ensure your day is as enjoyable as possible.

I became indulged in the story-telling of my wedding couples. Being surrounded by the excitement, sometimes nervous couples, and their loving families and friends made the filming such a rush. Then to have the honor to edit a film where their personalities and love shine through is the greatest privilege. I want to take them on a journey back in time to the most epic day where they laugh and cry with all their family and friends. I make films that last the ages. I love to think about how my couples might show their kids or even grandkids someday.

My name is Lance and I'm the owner of J'adore Video, based in Chicago and serving happy couples all over the world! I started filming weddings professionally in 2007 and have filmed over 400 weddings in my career, covering many different cultures, faiths, and beliefs.

John Severson graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2004 with degrees in Anthropology and Film. His passion for film has taken him all over the world, from Vietnam to Zanzibar. John is a Chicagoland native. After graduating and traveling, he returned back to Chicago’s Lakeview and South Loop neighborhoods. In 2009, he married his wife Sarah, and moved back to their native Oak Park to raise their two children, Stella and George. John is always available to chat with you about your ideas and answer any questions. He’s excited getting to know you as a couple and share your vision for your wedding day.

I fell in love with watching people be in love! You can't find a better gig. I went on to receive my Bachelor of Arts in 2019. I've really been able to put my education to work in regards to all things wedding films. When I'm not shooting weddings, I am doing real estate photography, binge watching Bob's Burgers and Saturday Night Live, or most likely eating something delicious. ;)
