Hi, name is Charmaine and I’ve been a passionate baker since 2016. What started as a hobby and a side job throughout college, later turned into my career. I’m a self-taught baker who has always enjoyed art and baking. So, what better way to make desserts look just as good as they taste? In 2023, I opened my storefront in Staten Island, NY and it’s been great! I strive to make all of my customers and couples happy and I look forward to hearing how much everyone enjoyed the cake. Sugar Monster is an award winning, concierge cake studio owned by Pastry Chef Ashley Holt. Ashley has won prestigious honors in her field and is currently working as the Senior Food Stylist at the TODAY Show. She has been in the cake industry for 10 years and puts incredible attention to detail in each of her designs. Her availability is limited and she is very selective with the orders she currently takes.
