At KHP we have a 10000 sq. ft. synthetic grass event lawn for the outdoor events and a 300 person dome ceiling cathedral if you would like to move indoors to say I do. Our venue was perfectly designed for weddings. It is all about flow and the guest being able to move from space to space easily and be served quickly so that they all may enjoy their special night. Our bride and grooms suites are the best in Texas. They are large and designed with bridal parties in mind. As you walk into the Little Chapel in-the-Woods you are entering into a tradition. Located on the edge of Texas Woman’s University, the chapel is a secluded sanctuary that has held weddings since September 1939, a few months before its dedication by Eleanor Roosevelt. We have two beautiful ballrooms to host the wedding reception of your dreams! The Chapel attendant is present to set up the chapel for the wedding, set up the sound system and instruct your vendors on usage, and to oversee the facility. They will be happy to provide limited guidance and answer any questions you may have about the rehearsal or processional. If you desire full-scale coordination you are welcome to provide a planner or even a friend with experience to manage the flow of your wedding ceremony.
