As part of the Southern Oaks Country Club and Golf Course, the Oaks Event Center is located in the rolling hills of the golf course with a large outside patio complete with twin fireplaces, a picturesque pond and bridges that offer a beautiful backdrop for your photographs. The Oaks Event Center offers full-service catering and bar services with the atmosphere of relaxed elegance. From our exquisite presentation of food, to the exceptional service and elegant atmosphere, the Oaks Event Center is the perfect location for your special event.

The Venue
Inside or Outside, The Oaks provides your wedding with a beautiful backdrop. Our Grand Ballroom is adorned with multiple Chandeliers, spacious dance floor and a large stage to accommodate the entire wedding party. Chivari Chairs, Tables, AV, China, Glassware, Linens and Exquisite Bridal/Groom Suites makes our venue, the most desirable place for your special day. The outside patio faces the manicured lawns of the Southern Oaks Golf Course and boasts two large Texas Limestone Fireplaces, and offers plenty of photo opportunities with the picturesque pond, bridges, all located on the property.

The Oaks Event Center is an elegant wedding venue located in Fort Worth, in the beautiful Southern Oaks Golf Course. We offer multiple indoor & outdoor settings for both your ceremony & reception can accommodate up to 10-300 seated guests in the elegant Ballroom or Garden Oaks Room.Vows can be exchanged in the gorgeous patio featuring limestone fireplaces.Our 6000 sqft ballroom can be transformed into a romantic wedding chapel or a beautiful Reception area with spacious bridal suites & parking.

Wedding
From the moment I met with Rebeca and she showed my wife and I along with my best friend and her husband we knew that we wanted this venue. Rebecca was very easy to talk to and she explained to use In great detail pricing , decoration, food and much more. I had quite a few things happen which of course financially took me back a step but Rebecca made sure that I did not feel overwhelmed with the payments but rest assured me we will still have a great wedding regardless of challenges. I had so many different changes and questions but never once did Rebecca give me a hard time and I truly thank her for that . The day of the wedding she was attentive and she and her lovely staff made sure everything was perfect from decorating, set up and food . I recommend this venue highly especially if you are planning a huge wedding or a small wedding they will take care of you . My wife and I would love to thank her so much for all of her help and of course all of the staff . Thank you all for making my special day a day truly memorable. Much love from the Nombo’s

The team at Oaks Event Center was wonderful to work with from start to finish. The venue itself was clean, warm, and open, providing a beautiful and welcoming space for our wedding celebration. The value we received for the cost was exceptional, and we could not have been happier with our decision to host our special day at Oaks Event Center. Venue is beautiful space with AMAZING food
This venue was everything we needed beautiful green outdoor. Decoration option for the venue to provide allowed for our wedding planner to focus on other areas. Inside and outside spacious we also rented the additional Garden room for the kids to play and watch movies. Rachel was a pleasure to work (flexible an high communication) with and staff was always nice. Easy payment plan. Venue is near several hotels for our guest and several things to do with restaurants. We will be using this space for other events in the future.

Just ok.
Unfortunately I must be honest and it was simply ok. The extensive planning I did as a bride pretty much went out the door on my wedding day due to the staff. The communication was SUBPAR. Regardless, of how many calls were made or emails were sent to them there was always missed information which caused me to constantly repeat myself and show proof of previous conversations. A tour was given the day of my wedding and they were brought IN my bridal suite without my consent while we were getting ready, outside guests were drinking and eating in the lobby area against our knowledge, just to name a few. The cocktail hour we paid for was discussed to be high tables set up for guests on the patio, it was actually two food choices in burners on a table outside pushing guests back inside the smaller lobby. This is not what was paid for. I honestly could continue to talk about things that went wrong like hair in the food & the last minute charge for plastic cake plates (I did receive a refund for both), the complete disregard for the place cards with the food choices on them, the disregard of the seating chart, etc. Overall, the goal was to marry my best-friend and I did, the setup was not way less than what I expected but being surrounded by our family and friends on our monumental day was everything. Sadly, I won’t recommend this place to anyone because it’s simply subpar. To be charged the amount we were it was a huge disappointment.
