Hello all! I’m Christina the face behind the camera. I am Chattanooga based photographer, but I travel all over. I have been in the photography industry for well over a decade. Weddings can be expensive, but beautiful photos shouldn’t. I’ve always stood by that motto since beginning my photography business. I strive to provide my clients with high quality photos and albums within a reasonable price.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Christina is SUCH an amazing photographer!! She made our engagement photos and the wedding look so magical. We are both awful at posing, but during the photoshoot, she guided us and made us look like professionals! She's so wonderful to work with, and was instantly able to make us feel comfortable (or about as comfortable as you can be with someone staring at you, telling you to kiss your fiancee, and then taking pictures of it lol!). She has excellent attention to detail, and we had very clear and concise communication during all stages leading up, and during, the wedding. We talked about some photos that I would be interested in getting, and she made sure to prepare for our special requests. Her work really speaks for itself, and her photos give off a very light and airy vibe. We were originally going to do with a short booking for our wedding, just 6 hours, but I'm really glad we ended up getting a longer session. Being able to look back on our wedding day and see these beautifully captured moments was worth every penny.”

“We had a great experience with Amative Creative for our wedding! One thing that really made them stand out was that they offer so many different editing styles to choose from, so we were able to pick exactly the look we wanted. They also got our photos back to us super quickly—about a week after the wedding—which was such a nice surprise. The photos turned out beautiful and they captured all the big moments and some great candid shots. I especially love how cool the dance floor shots turned out. We received tons of compliments on the pictures! Highly recommend!”

Hi! I'm Amy Ronk, a photographer currently based in Colorado, USA. After attending photography school, weddings kind of stole my heart. I love love of every kind, and it's always such an honor to be considered to capture your wedding day. I focus mainly on candid moments, and showcasing the emotions of the day. I think it's important to walk away from your wedding with timeless, beautiful photos that will remind you just how special your day was.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Amy was very responsive and accommodating to our micro wedding. I believe I found her on Zola and was very happy to see that she travels to our state for photography sessions and she was familiar with the area. My partner and I were looking for someone to "go with the flow" as we didn't have much planned. Amy balanced our lack of directions with her obvious expertise, helping to capture our day in the most natural way. A guest later commented, "your photographer was good because I never knew my picture was being taken!" In a group of 20 people, that's a skill. We received our photos back exactly on time and I would recommend Amy to anyone. We're so fortunate to have had her capture the memories of our day.”

I’ve dedicated years to learning the ins and outs of wedding formalities, but it’s the oft-forgotten bits of emotion that make the day feel so exceedingly special, not the shot list. Ethereal Moments Art
Rating: 5.0 (9 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $2,700
  • Serves Dadeville, AL for additional fees

My name is Wioletta, but you can call me Viola. I am a professional photographer based in the mountains of North Carolina where I reside with my three children, partner, a Great Pyrenees dog and a Siamese cat. I have a degree in Visual Art, but I have been fascinated by photography since I was 14 years old. I moved to the United States from Poland when I was just 16. I created my first photography business in 2010 where I shot moody and aesthetic self-portraits that I later sold as prints. I also designed logos and CD covers for bands. I created my wedding business, Ethereal Moments Art, in 2018 and ever since it has continued to grow.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Ethereal Moments Art was amazing to work with from start to finish and worth every penny. The theme of our May wedding was romantic, storybook/fairytale with lots of mauves, olive and sage colors and we wanted a photographer with an ethereal, intimate, candid style to match. We found Ethereal Moments Art by searching on the Knot. The first "difference-maker" is that the Ethereal Moments Art's website is upfront and transparent about pricing, day-of-timeline and process, which many photographers don't discuss in such detail right away. We were able to clearly envision working together. Plus, we could immediately make a decision to engage based on one of our highest priorities in vendor selection--budget. After an initial call and agreement, we had an engagement shoot. Wioletta suggested a time and place near us that captured our desire for a candid shoot in nature. We had not had a formal photoshoot done before, and Wioletta was professional, patient when we ran into traffic, gave helpful direction, made us feel comfortable, and took charge to capture us while the sun was going down and we were super sweaty! You can't tell at all in the final photos, either - it was a great way to get to know Wioletta and establish trust before the big day. Wioletta helped ease our minds and prepare us for the wedding day by asking for a list of photos that we wanted to have such as locations during first look, family portraits, etc. She and her shooting partner were on time and started working immediately. Even while the bride needed extra time due to a nervous stomach Wioletta was patient and adapted quickly, used that time to collect more photos of family and the venue. Wioletta did a fantastic job capturing all of the key moments, the beauty of the venue, family group portraits, and the candid moments shared amongst everyone having a great time. She provided a preview shortly after the wedding day, and then the whole album within her promised timeframe. Our album consists of thousands of photos(!) and we are very happy with them. Ethereal Moments Art's online platform made it easy to order prints, an heirloom photo album with USB containing all files, and a large framed version of our favorite image - the one of us sitting in the red chairs. It's hanging in our living room today. I cannot recommend Wioletta enough for your wedding and/or engagement. Overall, a pleasure to work with, responds promptly, and is a master of her craft. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate to book. Thanks again, Ethereal Moments Art! Our family will treasure your art for our entire lives.”

Hi! I'm Christin, a destination wedding photographer based in Chattanooga, TN. Specializing in timeless and artful imagery, my expertise goes beyond just taking photos; it's about crafting a visual story that reflects the joy, love, and unique spirit of your celebration.

“Working with Christin at Christin Sofka Photography was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding journey. From our very first inquiry to the days following our wedding, Christin has been nothing short of phenomenal—responsive, professional, fun, and such a warm presence throughout. We initially found her because of her stunning photography style, but it was her incredible personality that sealed the deal. From our first call, she genuinely wanted to get to know us—our story, our vibe, our vision—and it showed in everything she did. Before we even officially hired her, Christin was helping us find a venue that aligned with our dream, connecting us with other amazing vendors, and offering support in ways far beyond the role of a photographer. She was in it with us every step of the way. I’m usually awkward in front of a camera, but somehow Christin made it feel effortless and fun. She created an environment where we could just be ourselves—and that joy, love, and personality came through in every photo. Our pictures shine with who we are. Every idea we had, she embraced and brought to life in ways that exceeded our expectations. She was just as excited as we were the entire time—and honestly, I can’t imagine our day without her. Christin is not just a photographer—she’s a true artist, a cheerleader, and a calming, creative force you’ll be so lucky to have by your side. If you’re considering hiring her: do it. You’ll be singing her praises too.”

A Charleston Wedding Photographer with a fierce love for storytelling, fostering memories and capturing those moments that you will want to treasure forever. I get to tell your story. And, I think that’s pretty cool. I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

“tldr: Jessica is amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with her if this is the style of photos you like I had a lot of difficulty picking a photographer as I’m pretty picky with photos. I knew I wanted something bright and light, with kind of a whimsical or ethereal vibe, but it was really hard finding the style until I came across the “fine art” style. Jessica’s name came up while researching this style and I decided to reach out to her among a few other fine art photographers. I definitely hoped talks would go well with Jessica as the others I contacted ended up either not responding or were wildly out of my budget. Pre-Planning: Jessica was wonderful throughout this process. She promptly responded to my emails and answered questions clearly. I never felt like I was left in the dark for any part of the process. When I sent her the timeline of the ceremony/reception, she quickly came up with a timeline to slot in all the photos to be taken ahead of time at the location (We had access to the venue for a little over an hour prior to the ceremony). She also asked for a list of family photos that we wanted to take. This made it very easy at the wedding as she could call out people’s name to make sure everyone that was supposed to be in the pictures, were in the pictures. Jessica also sent over a list of ideas for detail shots and explained she could do this ahead of time. We didn’t want extra pictures of these and decided against it, however, I still thought it was very thoughtful of her to offer. Wedding Day: I loved her energy at the wedding. She was very calm and felt very competent. She directed my husband and I throughout the pictures, showing us poses etc. During family and wedding party photos, even though we had many bodies to fit in the frame in quite a few pictures, she led us through them with ease and the entire experience was very stress free (or as stress free as can be at a wedding lol). The venue was quite dim at specific locations, but the final results did not reflect that at all. The pictures were bright and did not look like they were taken in the dark at all. (This is a little off topic but I loved the little apron with pockets she wore for her equipment. So cute) I’m not sure when Jessica had the time, but there were pictures around the venue which were so beautiful. I definitely feel like the day was captured through the pictures. Post Wedding: Jessica sent us a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding containing 23 pictures. They turned out great and were beautiful. You can see examples on her website so I won’t elaborate, but they really are that good. The full gallery was sent almost a month after the wedding (minus 2 days) with instructions on purchasing prints or an album attached. The full download contained 650ish files, including the sneak peek pictures. Half of which were black and white, so this matched up pretty perfectly with Jessica’s estimation of the amount of photos when we spoke in the pre-planning stage.”

Hi!! My name is Erika! I'm a born and raised Florida girl. I'm super chill and low maintenance. I love reality TV, traveling, stand up comedy, working out, theme parks and my Peloton bike. I don't take life too seriously, but LOVE wedding photography. That I take seriously. ;)

“Erika was the first vendor we booked for our wedding in Rosemary Beach! We initially loved her portfolio for her elegant and classy galleries especially the moments captured on film. When we received our own wedding gallery back, Erika’s talent and artistry exceeded our expectations. Erika and her incredible team captured our wedding weekend perfectly. I could not have asked for a better team to work with. Erika is kind, communicative, timely and has the best energy. Every guest loved her and the team because they arrived with the best vibe to make everyone feel comfortable in front of a camera. The quality of our gallery is perfection.”

I’ve been a photographer for over 15 years. My journey started at Mississippi School of the Arts where I first saw the magic of a photo develop in a darkroom! I have a bachelor's degree in Photojournalism from Southern Miss and worked as a professional marketing photographer for 6 years before moving on full-time to wedding photography. That important step has proven fruitful as my passion for capturing real moments has been fulfilled by capturing the magic of loving couples. Now after 2 years of booking my calendar up and meeting with beautiful people from all over the southeast, I can reliably say my expertise is serving a higher purpose.

“We loved having April as our wedding photographer. She’s super professional to work with, but we also had a lot of fun taking our engagement and wedding photos with her. We wanted mostly candid photos instead of a lot of posed photographs, and she totally got what we were going for. We are so happy with our photos!”

I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.
