Originally built as a livery and then used as a cold-storage warehouse, Millwick has reinvented itself as a unique stand alone, super-loft open to private events, outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions, exhibitions and productions. It now boasts a flowing 7,000 square foot floor plan (4,500 sq ft interior + 2,500 sq ft garden courtyard) melding both interior and exterior areas. Millwick is an excellent event venue and wedding site for up to 175 people for ceremonies and receptions. Located in downtown Los Angeles in the heart of the Arts District, Millwick is convenient to many of the best new and historic hotels, restaurants and nightlife the city has to offer.

Our rates are most applicable for guest counts of 125+ based on day of the week (with an average of 175+ on a Saturday where our rate is the highest). We offer a (non-holiday) weekday Monday-Thursday evening rate that is our most cost effective and a win for clients anticipating fewer than 100 guests. We typically work with events with a minimum guest count of 75 on a weekday.

The intimate, charming sanctuary holds up to 90 people, and glass doors open into a lovely outdoor patio. Our Community Hall includes a newly renovated full kitchen with plenty of buffet space on granite countertops. Welcome. The Portofino Inn, as it was originally named, was opened in 1962 by racecar enthusiast Mary Davis. The inn drew thousands of visitors for a three-day welcome celebration for the King Harbor opening and soon became a hangout for racers including Peter Revson, an F1 Grand Prix Winner. The Cannonball Run, a car race from New York to Los Angeles turned feature film, was first run in 1971 with The Portofino Inn as the final destination.
