“T and her company were amazing to work with! She is able to make a large wedding look easy (it’s not lol). My husband and I had a personal tragedy occur literally weeks before our wedding taking our focus elsewhere. I sent inspiration photos and we discussed our vision (simple elegance) and she handled everything else: coordination with the venues, our photographer, the transportation company, catering, and most importantly, with my husband, to allow as little stress on me (us) for our wedding while ensuring it was what we wanted. She is very communicative and able to resource pretty much anything (e.g. burgundy flowers, specific table settings, etc). She directed my focus to the most important things we wanted and was able to instinctually fill in the rest when I wasn’t mentally and physically able to facilitate, creating the vision we so wanted for our wedding. We have received so many compliments from our friends and family and most importantly, we are happy with what was delivered for our special day.”

As an Austrian-born immigrant, it was essential for me to reflect my heritage in the event, and Hausfrau delivered beyond my expectations. From the moment I contacted Kristin Sanders, I knew I was in good hands. This was my first experience hiring a caterer, and Kristin was nothing short of amazing. She assisted me in planning the menu and remained incredibly accommodating as my guest list grew from 35 to 65. Throughout the planning process, she was mindful of my budget, while ensuring that everything was just right. The staff arrived on time and set up beautifully, donning stunning Austrian Dirndl dresses that added a special touch to the event. The food was absolutely perfect! We had a delightful array of German and Austrian dishes, complemented by some American favorites. The hors d'oeuvres, pretzel bar, buffet with three main dishes, and dessert received rave reviews from my guests, who are still talking about the meal and the event! “I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but after my experience with Maison D Events and Hospitality, I felt like they truly deserved one. From the first conversation all the way through the end of the event, everything was handled with so much professionalism, care, and attention to detail. Planning an event can be stressful, especially when you’re trying to make sure the food, setup, timing, and overall experience come together the way you imagined. The team at Maison D made the entire process feel so much easier. They listened to what we wanted, communicated with us throughout the process, and were very accommodating when it came to the little details that mattered to us. The food was honestly one of the highlights of the event. Everything tasted fresh, was seasoned really well, and the presentation was beautiful. Our guests kept talking about how good the food was, and several people even asked who catered the event. The portions were great, everything came out looking professional, and you could tell that they actually take pride in what they serve. What impressed me just as much as the food was the service. The staff was friendly, respectful, attentive, and professional without making things feel stiff or overly formal. They made sure our guests were taken care of and handled things behind the scenes without us having to constantly check in or worry about what was happening next. That allowed us to actually enjoy the event instead of spending the entire time trying to manage everything.
