What began in 1998 has grown into DJ Sound Productions; a team built through decades of weddings, music, technology, change, hard work and a genuine love for what we do. More than 10,000 weddings and events later, we’ve earned awards, expanded our team, and overcome plenty of challenges, but one thing has never changed: our commitment to getting better. We’re not perfect, but we’re experienced, prepared and passionate. Everything we’ve built as a company exists for one reason: to give every couple a wedding that feels uniquely, unmistakably and completely theirs.

“So, our day was falling apart horribly. Sept 7th, 2024. Way before the day started, some bridal party got sick, our coordinator got fired two days before our wedding, our venue didn't have much of what we ordered for decorations. Our last hope was the DJ service, but honestly, we didn't have high hopes. But then, the DJ arrived. He looked serious and got down to business. We told him how it's gonna be a mess and we understand if things didn't go right....it was just the way things were. We had each other right? NO. Our DJ refused to accept our self pitty. He was the calm, understanding, and reassuring part in this disaster of a storm. He said.....and I quote, "good thing I'm trained in coordination and I'm fully prepped. No worries, we got this". I, as the bride.....cried. we didn't have anyone that gave us this reassurance or confidence....till we met the DJ. He took charge, organized the most perfect ceremony, and then just did what it took to get everyone else organized from guests, to venue, to catering company. All we had to do, was have our wedding. We spoke with the guy the week of our wedding. He kept talking about "vision". Heck, I didn't even see what they saw. But the DJ, must have known somehow, because he got that vision and did everything we needed, and wanted. Dinner was beautiful, and things got done! I didn't think a DJ did all that. Then the dance. He announced everything, so all were informed and orchestrated everything and we let it all go and really had a lot of fun and enjoyed everything he played. I'm sure our DJ wanted to have more fun than all the work we out on him, and for that, I'm sorry......but you did one heck of a job!!!!! You turned what was a disaster, righted all the other vendors ships, and sailed yours too! You did the work of multiple companies with just 1 DJ. Unheard of! Most DJs I've seen at weddings just stay behind their music stuff and speakers and don't move. Our DJ broke a sweat. You know what, I hope other have a better wedding experience than we did, but I can tell you, this is a comoany that knows weddings, understands the needs of others, and is very well versed in what they do. And for all that, I'm grateful beyond belief and worth every penny and more. This is the ONLY 5 star review I've given for my wedding and they deserve 15. What a blessing!”

One thing I also loved were his lights - We could tell they were synced to the music, and at one point, during "Party in the USA", the lights were an American flag pattern, which was so cool! Very detail oriented, very organized, and very responsive to all the questions I had (I had a lot... sorry Nick ;)) unlike some of my other vendors. Highly recommend him”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “We booked through Steve upfront and he was so terrific to work with on initial arrangements. Our DJ, Drew, was absolutely fantastic! He handled both our ceremony and reception music, and everything was seamless from start to finish. The ceremony music was perfect, the timing was exactly right, and he helped create the exact feeling we wanted for the day. He used my Spotify playlists as inspiration for our pre-ceremony and cocktail hour music, so those moments felt completely like us and set the perfect vibe from the beginning. For the reception, he did an amazing job reading the room, keeping the energy going, and making sure everything flowed without us ever having to worry about what was happening next. One of the things we appreciated most was how much he cared about making the day personal. He worked behind the scenes with our officiant and friends on a few surprises, and those little moments ended up meaning so much to us. We wanted our wedding to feel relaxed, personal, and like a true celebration with our favorite people, and Drew played such a big part in creating that atmosphere. “Kyara was absolutely FABULOUS! She was so easy to communicate with, and my guests loved the music selection during dinner (a few even sang along occasionally). She learned 5 songs for our ceremony (all video game songs), and she also helped me surprise my bride by playing "All I Ask of You" from The Phantom of the Opera while I sang. She met with me in person to rehearse, and it was so natural singing with her. We obviously were not able to practice in the space beforehand, but it was PERFECT when the moment came to surprise my bride. The fact that she had a speaker setup was a huge bonus, and the baby grand shell added an extra layer of elegance to the setup that I loved. I cannot recommend Kyara enough- absolutely incredible, beyond talented, and truly made my vision for the day come to life. “We cannot express enough praise and gratitude for Mitch! We had the privilege of working with him for our wedding on 7/6/24. From preplanning meetings to the wedding day, Mitch was extremely on top of everything to ensure our wedding day ran smoothly. He also communicated with our other vendors on the day of the wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page! When we had our live acoustic guitarist back out somewhat suddenly, we reached out to Mitch for references. To our surprise, he offered us an even better idea to have him play sax and a friend play guitar at the ceremony. All of our guests absolutely loved it and it brought a really special feel to the ceremony. On top of that, the energy he brings to MCing got our guests super excited and involved!
