Opened in spring of 2001, the Los Altos History Museum resides in an impressive three-level, 8,200-square-foot building – built entirely with private donations; building ownership was transferred to the City of Los Altos in 2002. Living Well Event Center is a private 4.5-acre estate in the Santa Cruz Mountains in Los Gatos, about 20 minutes from San Jose. It is not a banquet hall. You have the whole property for your block: a 2,000-square-foot redwood deck for the ceremony and reception, a fruit orchard, a 150-foot water garden and waterfall, and views that run to Monterey Bay and the Pacific. Up to 100 guests. Indoor space (about 1,800 square feet) and a full kitchen are included, so weather is not a problem. You bring your own vendors. Greg and Patty are on site the whole time.
