The Haight is a wedding and event venue located in Elgin, IL and is enveloped by a historic neighborhood, for a romantic and storied setting for your wedding. This converted warehouse was originally constructed in the 1890s. It began as the Elgin Storage & Transfer Company. Over the years numerous companies used the building until 1985 when it was bought by John Haight, who refurbished the building. The Haight features two floors and a rooftop area. Brick walls and hardwood flooring accent exposed ductwork. There are multiple spaces for hosting your ceremony, reception, and many other wedding-related gatherings. On the first floor, there is room for up to 175 guests standing. This makes the 2,000-square-foot space ideal for the cocktail reception. The second floor features 7,000 square feet of space. 250 people seated or 200 people seated with a dance floor can fit in this event area. You can also take your celebrations outside on the spacious rooftop deck.

The Highland Park Community House is an elegant wedding venue located in the heart of Highland Park's vibrant and well-known downtown district. This warm and inviting venue is a beautifully renovated historic landmark that evokes the glamour of the past with its art deco fixtures, vaulted ceilings and gorgeous hardwood floors. With stunning indoor and outdoor space, this venue can be converted into many configurations to graciously accommodate smaller events and weddings. One of the unique aspects of our special venue is you can bring in any vendor, caterer, food, beverage, decor of your choosing making it affordable on all budgets to create the wedding of your dreams.

The Ellwood House Museum is an historic estate that offers three unique rental spaces on ten acres of gardens and grounds. These include the first floor and terraces of elegant Ellcourt, an historic Tudar Revival house built in 1899. It is available from March through mid-November and is our only venue where alcohol service is permissible. Ellcourt has an hourly rate of $350. The grounds also offer a choice of three garden spaces for wedding ceremonies. Garden rentals are available mid-May to mid-October and include an inclement weather backup location in the Hearthside Room of the Visitor Center. The rental rate is a flat fee of $500. The third venue is our more casual space, the Hearthside Room, which includes access to the galleries. It is available March through mid-November, and the rental rate is $75 per hour. All venues are limited to 80 people, and both indoor venues have full kitchens.

A three-story Victorian Mansion built in 1915 and once the home to Emerson Keith, founder of Keith Country Day School. The two available stories include two large studio spaces, galley kitchen, sun porch, and professional office, with options to add on massage suite, esthetics suite, and hair salon. The building's integrity has remained intact, simply allowing for updated paint and decoration. The Nineteenth Century offers multiple event spaces to fit your needs, with hanging chandeliers, a full stage, original hardwood floors, and a lofty ceiling. The Margaret Houck Ballroom is a beautiful and refined space for your ceremony and reception. Windows line both sides of the ballroom giving you plenty of natural light, casting an iridescent glow over the hardwood floors. From small to medium sized parties, consider the South Dining Room or the North Dining Room. Cozy yet elegant, these two rooms offer the perfect atmosphere.
