The pre-planning was easy through the vibo app and meetings with drew in which he took the time to understand our setup, ensuring everything he needed was in order, and how we wanted everything to flow in advance. Drew was masterful at keeping the party going in a way that matched our vibe (and was far from some of the cheesier party DJs out there). He helped all our different events throughout the evening flow well, including the ceremony audio setup, our intro and first dance, speeches, and all the specific party requests following. He was super personable and authentic, handling the job of MC expertly and catering to our tastes extremely well. We had quite a variety of genres we wanted to represent throughout the evening (oldies, indie/alternative, 90s throwback, eurodance, city pop, rap, traditional dances, Turkish, Latin, etc.) and he wove them all together seamlessly. He even added in some surprises for us that we really enjoyed (and can't wait to see photos of)! Many of us ended the night in the pool and he even kept the party going through that to the sounds of Queen and the Strokes. He even orchestrated and filmed a group dive into the pool. “We hired Philip from Good Musicians for our wedding and he was phenomenal! Philip played acoustic guitar for our ceremony/cocktail hour and then transitioned to a fantastic DJ for the reception! He did such a great job playing the song requests we had on the guitar, and he even learned a few that was very important for us to be played! We got SO many compliments from the guests of the wedding on how well he preformed- including family members that are singers and performers themselves! Then for the reception, he brought the PARTY as the DJ. He was able to really capture the vibe of what we were looking for as well as what the guests wanted to hear. Prior to the wedding, he was very attentive to what we were looking for in terms of song request and do not play lists. He also provided a very large song library of suggestions, as well as songs he knows how to play via Spotify- this made our lives SO much easier and was such a great resource! We also rented uplighting and cold fireworks for our wedding though Philip, which really elevated the party atmosphere. I highly recommend to hire Philip/good musicians for your wedding, he was such a pleasure to have! I can only imagine how talented his band is as well!!”

“We got married on March 9th and Dr. Dan Paulish and his assistant were an incredible addition to the team of vendors we’d put together. More than anyone else, D.J. Paulish kept in constant communication with us in the months leading up to the wedding. It was very easy to make adjustments to the schedule and setlist. He was ready with suggestions and tips for aspects of the music and the schedule that we weren’t sure about. Our wedding would have undoubtedly been more disorganized and everything would have likely gotten off schedule if not for the advice and flexibility of D.J. Paulish. Especially if you don’t have a formal wedding planner, we recommend an experienced D.J. like Dan – he simultaneously went with the flow and kept everything on track. And despite some of the chaos going on “behind the scenes” with other aspects of the wedding, this D.J. kept the party going and made sure that all of that chaos stayed behind the scenes and that all of the guests continued to have a good time. There was always a crowd dancing on the dance floor and there was always another great song lined up to keep the party going. We highly recommend anyone looking for a D.J. to go with D.J. Paulish!”

We had built the playlist for the pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner, and he very much followed that our wishes. We really appreciated that because music is a huge part of our relationship. He was also very responsive over email and phone. He had a great personality on the day and was the perfect blend of an MC who was communicative but not overly on top of the mic. During the dance party portion of the evening, he rightfully threw in choices of his own that we hadn't thought of and I am so glad he did. He brought life to the party and we have gotten compliments since our wedding night about how much fun everyone had and how perfect the dance floor was. “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”
