Nestled amongst thirty tranquil acres of our lush wooded private property, The Emerald Forest provides a stunning backdrop for a strikingly serene and cherished micro-wedding or elopement. We are just four miles east of downtown Redmond and fifteen miles east of downtown Seattle. Within the forest is the Emerald Forest Theater, built-in 2018 by Treehouse Master Pete Nelson. The Theater is a one-of-a-kind outdoor climb-in movie theater made up of a large seating area 15' off the ground, four box seat open-air pods, two "Kodama zome" elevating loungers (tree-levators!), two stories of hammock-like dream nets high in the trees, and projection onto the 16' screen hanging in the trees. The forest of hemlocks, cedars, and fir trees within a gorgeous carpet of green moss is truly one of the most beautiful forests in the world (or so we have been told dozens of times!).

The Kirkland Woman's Club is located across from Kirkland City Hall in their original historic building. In its early days, the building also housed the original Kirkland Library and a Baby Wellness Clinic. It is listed on the State of Washington Historical Register and the National Registry of Historic Places, as well as the King County Historic Preservation Program. In addition to providing a gracious setting for our various Club activities, the facility is available to rent for such functions as wedding receptions, memorial services, or recurring business meetings.
