About this venue

A&K Alder farm offers 20 secluded acres in Sedro-Woolley, WA along the gateway to the North Cascades. Our venue boasts plenty of mountain views, trees and all the woodsy PNW vibes you are looking for. Book your elopement, one day event or full weekend with us. The Airbnb is available as the daytime wedding suite, and for overnight stay. Opt for on-site camping the whole weekend and enjoy our gourmet s'mores platter fireside. We only book one wedding per weekend so couples and their guests can enjoy exclusive access to the property, without feeling rushed. A&K alder farm is DIY friendly, and dog friendly! We welcome your ideas and creativity.

A&K Alder Farms hosted our beautiful 50 person July wedding and it could not have gone better. Jessica and Kate went above and beyond to make the whole weekend a dream. We loved having the airbnb suites and the camping available for our friends to stay late and keep the party going. The different spaces let us be really creative and bring our vision to life. I would 100% recommend A&K Alder Farm for your wedding. You will have the freedom and possibility to build the exact day you want and The A&K team will be with you every step of the way.

A&K Alder farm is managed by Jessica and Katy, who were perfect partners for the whole duration of our wedding's planning, preparation, and execution. They were timely, precise, and incredibly welcoming and kind starting all the way back in December when my (now husband) and I were exploring venues, and were beyond patient when my communications kept getting delayed. They went above and beyond to contribute to the day, collaborating with us during site planning, letting us use their inventory of decoration and furniture during set up, and mowing down an entire field so we could install a maypole! We couldn't have asked for a better venue and would highly recommend A&K Alder Farm to any couple looking for a magical wedding experience.

A&K Alder Farm was a wonderful venue for our styled shoot. Their communication throughout the planning process was very consistent and professional, which put us at ease. The property itself is a great option for a 2-day celebration with family and friends - they offer campers plenty of privacy, but also provide complimentary services like a charcuterie board and couples massage if requested. If you're truly looking for a private, in-nature camping experience for your wedding, I highly recommend considering A&K Farm. The quality of their work and value they provided exceeded our expectations.

As an outdoor only venue terrain can be variable. Bathrooms are not provided by us, so it is up to the wedding party to contract their own accessible bathrooms as needed.

You will be required to purchase "Special Event Liability Insurance" with a limit of at least $1,000,000. This usually costs about $150 to $200. We recommend Wedsafe policies

2 hours of set-up assistance from A&K Alder Farm staff member, including use of tractor/trailer for large items, garbage bags and bins, twine, extension cords, ladders, hammer and nails, cleaning supplies (broom/dust-pan, cleaning solution), iron and ironing board, paper towels, two wood altars that can be decorated. 45 mis matched wood chairs, 6 banquet tables (96x30,) mason jars and vases, misc rustic decor.

Rehearsal (day before your event) The venue will be available to you from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for a 3 hour max rehearsal. Day of Event, the venue is available to you from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. You may stay past 11 p.m. for a $150 deduction from your deposit, per hour.

A designated smoking area will be labeled and have buckets for cigarette disposal.

Yes, please enjoy the property! The main house, and all outbuildings are off limits. Entering the slough is also off limits, but feel free to enjoy the view.
