Comstock Park, MI
  • Starts at $5,000

👋 I’m Rachel, Owner and Lead Creative behind Vormittag Farm & Floral. Flowers are my passion. I LOVE the fancy garden roses all the way down to the tiniest of flowers. Flowers represent kindness and I’m always striving to be just that.

Awarded Best of Zola
I loved what Rachel put together for my wedding. We hired her for a bouquet, bud vases and some small bouquets and corsages. I gave her a few inspo pics but no firm direction or required flowers, and let her work her magic. Everything was gorgeous and she really knows how to assemble a lovely grouping of flowers; I wouldn’t have changed a single thing. If I need florals done for any future event I’d absolutely hire her again!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Comstock Park, MI

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
I highly recommend Flower Moxie!!! The flowers were amazing quality and I even had them delivered on time for a wedding three days after Christmas! I received my flowers 5-6 days in advance due to the holiday, and they still held up a few days after the wedding! The customer service was amazing, especially Alexa! She went out of her way to make sure she could help throughout any point of the service. She was very quick to respond and was very kind and sweet to work with! I highly recommend Flower Moxie and Alexa to help you with your flowers for any event! :)

Poppy Flowers
Rating: 4.4 (86 reviews)
  • Starts at $1,750
  • Serves Comstock Park, MI

Poppy is a full-service wedding florist with one mission: give every couple stunning floral design without the luxury-tier price tag. We design, source, and deliver your flowers from first consultation to final installation. As featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, The Today Show, Fortune, and Goop. Planning your wedding flowers should feel exciting, not overwhelming. If you've been gathering inspiration and wondering whether your budget can actually bring that vision to life — it can. That's exactly what we do.

Awarded Best of Zola
I was so overwhelmed when I first started looking for florists for our wedding. There are so many options, and I didn’t even know where to start until I found Poppy. They break down the process and steps, making it super easy, almost to the point that it doesn’t feel real. To start, you meet with a floral consultant where you talk through your wedding details, the vibe you’re going for, the general needs, etc. Then they walk you through a list of various wedding floral options: bouquets, table arrangements, signage florals, ceremony florals, etc., and you start to narrow down what you want. In each section, they have a grouping of photos, and you can either select something from that or ask for more options. You can also tweak what they have shown (I picked florals that had eucalyptus in them and requested everything be switched to ruscus). After that, you have a while to go back in and adjust until a deadline, but they accommodated some last-minute adds I had as well. Our consultant was Sophia, and she was super responsive and wonderful to work with. Closer to the wedding, you get assigned a local florist who does the actual designing/styling and installing, and we were lucky enough to get Ron, who matched our inspo images EXACTLY. Everything was so beautiful, and I was so in love with my bouquet. He was also incredibly nice and set everything up so quickly. If you’re looking for something to make the whole floral selection easy, simple, and beautiful (also super transparent with costs), definitely go with Poppy!!

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (43 reviews)
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Comstock Park, MI

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
The Faux Bouquets was a wonderful florist to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was prompt, clear, and friendly. They walked us through the process seamlessly and the quality of their work was excellent. The bouquets, boutonnières, garlands with clip on flowers, and centerpieces had an authentic, natural look despite being faux flowers. Pricing is transparent and affordable, making it an easy decision to choose Faux Bouquets. The bright spring colors in the Garden Vibrance collection were beautiful, annd a perfect fit for our late May wedding. The order arrived with ample lead time prior to the wedding day. Additionally, the packaging was excellent, and their return shipment process is very simple and easy to follow. We highly recommend The Faux Bouquets to any couple planning their wedding.

🌹 WE ARE NOT FRESH FLOWER FLORISTS. WE WORK WITH WOOD & FAUX FLOWERS. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE THIS IN YOUR REPLY. 🌹 Wood & Word Blooms is run by a Jen Angle, former teacher of 20+ years and specializes in using hand-painted wood flowers along with a faux, dried and preserved florals (nothing fresh here) to bring your wedding vision to life not just for that one glorious day but forever. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Awarded Best of Zola
Jen was AMAZING to work with! When it came to flowers for my wedding, I had NO IDEA what I wanted. She was very patient with me and helped talk me through my vision. She gave me flowers to pick from, talked about how big I wanted my bouquet and how much greenery I wanted, and then when I could find colors I liked in swatches, she color-matched the colors I wanted from an inspo pic I found online! She was very professional and patient with me, even when my plans changed or I needed to add to my order.  I am not the best at putting together a bouquet. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. I was thankful that I was able to give Jen the reins, tell her what I wanted, and watch her make my dreams come true. When I first saw my flowers, I was speechless. She truly did make my floral dreams come true, and now I get to keep my bouquet for the rest of my life! A wooden flower bouquet from Jen is the way to go!

The final arrangements they created were natural looking, beautifully composed, and perfectly on theme with our wedding vision - all at a very reasonable price. The flowers fit exactly what I was looking for and truly elevated the look and feel of our special day. We ordered the bucket of blooms for our centerpieces and arranged them ourselves which was more cost effective for us and gave us an activity we could do with our friends before the wedding. Suzi and her team helped us load the flowers into our car and gave us tips on the best ways to keep them fresh. I would highly recommend Viavi Flower Farm to any couple planning their wedding.

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

We contracted Zombie Flowers to provide bouquets for our runway models at Uncon Bridal Con. They were amazing at their communication leading up to the event and delivered the bouquets promptly according to our schedule the day of the event. Their punctuality gave our models enough time to rehearse the runway with their florals. Aside from their great professionalism, Zombie Flowers is a super creative company.
