“The Safari Park is a stunning wedding venue that I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a unique and memorable wedding day. We chose Kijamii Overlook, which had spectacular views of the safari area, with giraffes, rhinos, and antelope visible throughout the ceremony and reception. When we first toured the venue, we were blown away that we could actually have our wedding in such a beautiful and unique setting. The entire experience, from our initial tour and planning through the wedding day itself, went incredibly smoothly. Our sales coordinator, Magda, was informative, responsive, and always available to answer our questions. That responsiveness stood out immediately. When I first called, I was able to speak with someone right away and schedule a tour within a couple of weeks. With other venues, we sometimes waited weeks just to hear back. The planning process itself was an absolute breeze. Our coordinators, Anna and Delaney, gave us their full attention throughout, and the wedding day went as smoothly as we could have hoped. We were blown away when we saw the venue with the tables, flowers, and full setup in place. Another huge plus was the included park admission. Many of our guests spent the day exploring the Safari Park before the wedding and loved it, which made the whole experience even more memorable. The catered food was also absolutely delicious and genuinely exceeded our expectations. Overall, the Safari Park was an easy 5/5 for us. The setting is spectacular, the staff were fantastic, and the entire experience felt incredibly special. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, memorable wedding venue—especially animal lovers.”

“I first came across Fairview Green River on Zola and reached out for pricing. Based on the initial information, I assumed it would be outside of our budget. I even scheduled a tour but nearly canceled because I didn’t want to spend another Saturday touring a venue my fiancé and I felt we couldn’t afford. When I contacted them to cancel, they encouraged me to keep the appointment—and I’m so glad I did. At the time, we didn’t have a wedding date, and Fairview happened to be offering a discounted rate for a Saturday wedding along with several perks we couldn’t pass up. That completely changed our minds. We attended one of their fairs to try the food, and honestly, I had mixed feelings at first. By that point, we were already committed to the venue, so I was hoping for the best. I shared my concerns with Sandra, who was our main contact throughout the process. She walked me through other menu options and reassured me that we would love the food—and she was absolutely right. The vendors they work with were wonderful. Tasteful Cakes, Ivy & Co, and The Southern California Wedding Guys were all responsive, professional, and easy to work with. Pricing for add-ons was also very reasonable compared to vendors I had researched on my own. Day of the wedding: Our day-of coordinator, Darian, was amazing. She stayed calm, organized, and collected while making sure the entire wedding party had everything they needed. Sandra also checked in on me throughout the day, which I really appreciated. During cocktail hour, the Fairview team had drinks and snacks set aside for us so we could enjoy some time and take our sunset photos. When we returned for our grand entrance, our dinner and drinks were already waiting for us at our table—such a thoughtful touch. We truly had the best night ever surrounded by our favorite people. And the food? AMAZING. We chose the American package with prime rib and a carving station. They also offered Italian and Mexican options, but the carving station sealed the deal for us. The only downside was that we only had access to the venue two hours before the wedding. A third hour would have been ideal. While I could have paid for the extra hour, I do feel this should be included. For reference, we chose the all-inclusive Elite package. A few helpful notes for anyone considering it: Flowers are partially included: table centerpieces and the ceremony arch are covered, but bouquets and boutonnieres are not. We purchased those separately, and their pricing was very fair—much more affordable than other florists. The DJ package includes the DJ only. Lighting, fog, and sparklers are upgrades. We chose to upgrade and were very happy we did. There are no additional cake fees, and the cake options were great. Our friends and family are still raving about the food, cake, DJ, and overall experience. We are so happy we chose Fairview Green River and would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking to host an event.”

“If we could give Wedgewood 100 stars, we would. We were in the planning process for almost 2 years, and during that time, we had to navigate a lot of changes with the venue due to new winery ownership. It could have easily been an incredibly stressful process, but the entire team handled everything with absolute grace, professionalism, and unmatched care. They went completely above and beyond for us every single step of the way. First and foremost, we have to talk about our incredible coordinator, Alison. There are truly no words to describe how amazing she is. Throughout the entire process and especially on the day of, we genuinely felt like she was reading our minds. Her intuition, attention to detail, and execution are flawless. She took every single vision we had and made our dream wedding come to life. We didn't have to worry about a thing because Alison was always three steps ahead. She loves what she does and cares so deeply about making sure her couples are over the moon happy and we truly cannot thank her enough. I have so many pictures of me bawling and looking absolutely shocked when she walked us into our reception hall for the first time - I couldn’t believe that I was looking at MY wedding! We could not have asked for anything more. We also owe a massive thank you to Tori, Amanda Jo, and Daly. They were so supportive, incredibly responsive, and made us feel so cared for. They all tackled the changes that the winery made with the utmost consideration and care - I cannot imagine being in their position having to manage the unplanned changes that they did, but they acted with no hesitation and complete transparency from the beginning. We trusted them completely and are so happy that we did. Every single one of them also brought amazing energy and dedication to making sure our wedding day was spectacular. The venue itself is beautiful, but it’s the people who make it extraordinary. If you are considering Wedgewood Weddings at Truffle Pig or any location, you are in for the most incredible planning process and wedding day. Our guests could not stop talking about the food, the scenery, the vibe, and the flow of the day. It truly was perfect in every aspect. Thank you, Alison, Tori, Amanda Jo, and Daly, for giving us the best day of our lives!”

Venue considerations

  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • Not wheelchair accessible

“I’ve spent a lot of my life looking at structures and solutions, but what happened at Jackalope Ranch for our wedding wasn't about the architecture of a building—it was about the architecture of a soul-level experience. We came into this day looking for something authentic and grounded, and what we found was a crew that didn't just "work" an event; they cared for us like family. Amidst record, unseasonably hot weather that could have easily derailed the outdoor spirit of the day, the staff ensured every moment felt effortless. Erinmary and Destiny were quiet anchors. We never had to look for them; they were simply there, anticipating needs before they were even spoken. Lillian and Gilbert are names we will carry with us for the way they treated us - we will say hi from now on when we see them. My friends and family haven't stopped talking about the food—several people told me it was the best they’ve ever had at any wedding, period. Even as someone who isn’t a drinker, I heard nothing but praise for the bartenders and the spirit they brought to the house. There is a weight to a day like this, a vulnerability in standing before those you love. Jackalope Ranch gave us the room to breathe. Whether it was the privacy of the events room to cool off, the stunning backdrop for our first look, helping to arrange the seating and tables or the photo shoot at the bar, they gave us the run of the place with our best interests at heart. We felt like celebrities, but more importantly, we felt seen and supported. I suggested they could say they "put the elope in Jackalope," but for us, they put the heart in it. It was flawless, honest, and truly unforgettable.”

“We had our wedding at Carter Lane Estates, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful! We had our ceremony on the lawn, tucked away and surrounded by gorgeous landscaping of rock work and olive trees. We had our reception in the barn, and everything was exactly as we hoped. Jennifer was so kind, communicative, and very easy to work with! Since she knows the layout of her property so well, she knew what decor would look good, and where to place furniture and vendors. Jennifer assisted with the supervision of our chair and arbor deliveries, and was the point person for the rest of the vendors, so the bride and groom could relax. She made the whole event seamless! Highly recommend this place!”

“Rented this house for our daughter’s 15-person micro-wedding in May. It was the perfect venue with endless picture-perfect options for photos, meals, and activities. It’s like having your own private resort. The pool area is amazing. In addition, the house was clean, well appointed, and rooms are well laid-out for everyone to not feel like they were on top of each other. There are quite a few steps both inside and out so if you have anyone with mobility issues it could be challenging. The TRAVLR staff was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions. We had a number of pretty specific inquiries about types of dishes and glasses, etc. (for the wedding dinner) and they were always prompt and thorough in their replies. They even tracked down and shipped some bathing suits that were left behind. We appreciated their attention to detail. Casa Tierra exceeded all expectations - I just wish we had stayed longer!”

“We hosted our wedding weekend at Sacred Mountain Ranch, Thursday through Sunday over the 4th of July, and it was truly above and beyond anything we could have imagined!! Throughout the planning process, Shannon was incredibly helpful. She was always willing to answer any question and work us through any problems that came up. We had a last-minute cancellation with our wedding coordinator, and Shannon and the Sacred Mountain team stepped in without missing a beat. They kept things running smoothly all weekend, especially on the wedding day itself. The property is stunning, and everyone there was kind and accommodating. They made sure we had what we needed while still letting us use the space in a way that felt personal and comfortable, like it was truly our own. It's a dream venue! Every housing option on property is beautiful and homey, and the wedding venue setup flows so well, with every detail clearly well thought out. I can't recommend Sacred Mountain Ranch enough. If you're planning a wedding, a long weekend, or any kind of event, this is the place. The team is incredible and the property is unforgettable.”
