While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. “Now for the details: Brandon, Kellie, Elmer, and Becky were excellent to work with. They were communicative throughout the entire process and even sent monthly checklists to ensure the wedding planning timeline was ironed out and reminded you of the small details that most folks forget about. It’s the little things like these emails that went above and beyond to make sure our evening went as smoothly as possible. Our DJ, Elmer, was very enthusiastic despite challenges at the beginning of the event – the venue coordinator was very combative with him during set-up – and he didn’t let it affect the energy of the evening. (We didn’t find out until after the wedding date from our other vendors setting up and we had to reach out and ask about it because he didn’t want us to worry at all). He provided a high energy level and hits for dancing the whole evening and stuck to our favorite music vibes. Our photo booth operator, Becky, pulled us aside to take photos in the booth and thank goodness she did because we didn’t get the chance to go in before or after she pulled us aside. She put our guestbook together throughout the evening and it was fun to have something that captured our night to look through the next morning. Signature DJs was reasonably priced considering everything we received - music for ceremony & reception, mics, uplighting for dance floor, photo booth with guest book, monogram, and bubble exit complete with 2 bubble machines and bubbles for individual guests. They were flexible with our requests (customized monogram, unconventional timeline, and last-minute song additions) and had already worked at our venue so they were already familiar with the space which was super helpful because the venue coordinator was awful to work with. They put us at ease and gave us confidence that our day would be wonderful when we were the most stressed. Thank you so much, Brandon, Kellie, and team for setting the tone and giving us a memorable night!”

They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. “We worked with Jeremy for our wedding this past July 2024. We were able to setup our contract early in the year and filled out a thorough questionaire for music choices, announcements, day-of events (first dance song, anniversary dance song, etc.) which gave us a great starting direction for planning the reception. Day of was perfect. Mics were available for our officiant and ourselves at the ceremony, the music quality was great. We had told Jeremy that the songs we elected in the questionnaire were more of a palette of our music tastes and we were thrilled by our/his music choices throughout the day both during the dinner and dancing part of the reception. And for the dance portion of the night, we were blown away by that all the songs were blended and mixed seamlessly stringing the night together. He did NOT just press "go" on a playlist that played through the night be instead weaved songs and kept our party going til the very end. Without a doubt, Jeremy was perfect for our wedding and we would definitely recommend his skills for any wedding.”

“I don’t have enough good things to say about DJ Obehi! As a professional dancer, obviously I’m a firm believer that the DJ can make or break a dance floor, and DJ Obehi absolutely MADE IT! Not only did he pick out music for our dance floor that was so specific and special to us, but he also was an amazing MC throughout the day. He absolutely brought the energy up! “We absolutely loved working with Carol and Joey. They are an amazing husband and wife wedding team. We hired them just a month before our wedding when we realized we needed an MC, and we ended up adding Carol for day-of coordinating too. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Carol met with Haley (the bride) multiple times a week leading up to the wedding to make sure every detail was covered. She has such a positive, calming spirit, and she brought a sense of relief even before the big day. That alone was priceless. She also took the time to really get to know our families and friends, which helped everything run so naturally and smoothly. On the wedding day, we had two pretty major and time-sensitive vendor shortfalls, and Carol handled both effortlessly. She kept everything under control without involving the bride and groom and was incredible at delegating tasks to the right people to make sure everything got done. She showed up fully prepared, emergency kit and all, and saved the day more than once. Joey did an amazing job keeping the party going. He brought awesome lighting for the dance floor, and he even set up lights in dimly lit areas so guests wouldn’t trip or fall. They both clearly care about everyone having a great time, but they put safety first, which we appreciated so much. Joey also took all of our music preferences and seamlessly wove them into the night so everything flowed perfectly. They brought their son as well, who was such an incredible support and a huge help throughout the day. A few weeks post-wedding day, they even hopped on a debrief call with us to walk through how everything went and help us give accurate feedback to our other vendors. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care went far beyond anything we expected. Our wedding day was so special because of them. We couldn’t recommend Carol and Joey more.”
