“From the first time I talked to Danny on the phone to inquire about using fine line artistry, I was absolutely sure he would do an excellent job on my wedding day. Danny is so kind, attentive to detail, helpful, and a pleasure to be around. My trial was so smooth and easy, and he nailed the exact look I wanted with very vague inspiration description from me, because I know absolutely nothing about make up. He managed to find the exact color lipstick I have been searching for forever, so not only a win for my wedding, but a win for my lipstick collection too! On the day of the wedding Danny and his assistant were incredible! They showed up early and took care of everyone extremely well. Everyone was so happy with how they looked, even my girls with very particular make up tastes. They worked extremely efficiently and were very well coordinated with our hair stylist. Danny handled the entire schedule including that for hair, even though I did not use one of the stylists from fine line artistry. He was super organized and on top of everything. I cannot recommend fine line artistry enough!! I keep joking I’ll never have my make up look that good again (unless of course I hire Danny!!!) - if you get the chance to work with fine line artistry, do not pass it up! I included pics from my trial, the girls after getting ready, right before the ceremony, and a late night photo booth pic of me and the MoH.”

Throughout the process, Yoli, the bridal coordinator, responded to all of my questions promptly and cheerfully. Marielly and Janelle made me feel so comfortable and confident at my trial and were open and responsive to feedback and follow-up questions I had about my own look as well as questions my girls wanted to ask. On my wedding day, my bridesmaids, mom, and I got ready at the pink salon. The space is bright, airy, and full of cute spots for photos. Marielly and Janelle gave each of my girls the same VIP treatment they gave me at my trial and they kept us on time to ensure the rest of the day went smoothly. My group ranged widely in terms of needs (we had hair that was curly, straight, thick, and thin and girls who ranged from wearing little to no makeup regularly to girls who regularly go full glam and wanted bright and colorful looks), and each girl ended up with a look that was perfect for them! Our hair and makeup lasted all night long! While the final product was impressive, what stands out the most to me about working with The Stately Rose was how they made me feel. Every question or concern I had was treated as important (no matter how small) in the lead-up to the day. In the salon, Marielly and Janelle created a positive, fun, relaxed, and empowering environment. They were the ultimate hype-women all morning and they really set the tone for the day moving forward. It was especially meaningful to me how much care our team took in accommodating health and safety concerns among my party; requests we made to keep those with compromised immune systems or allergies comfortable and safe were made without hesitation. We all left the salon to start the rest of the busy and stressful day feeling like our best selves. “Writing reviews was the last things I had on my big ol wedding to-do list. I mostly put it off because I truly did not know how to put into words how perfect most of my vendors were. Jessica was no short of perfection. She was incredibly easy to schedule with, chat with about what I wanted, and offered up advice on all things beauty. Her package deal is incredible, her pre wedding face kit is amazing, her touch up kit is still use to this day, and her own facial products are some of my faves. I didn’t have “mini facial” on my wedding morning timeline but omfg I would tell every bride it’s absolutely necessary. During my trial (at her adorable home studio!) we went in a traditional direction and 5 months later I asked her to pivot entirely and go foundation-less. I’d seen it on her Instagram page and was so impressed and oh man did she pull it off. I felt so natural (I’m not someone who usually wears anything but moisturizer and mascara) and to not have to wear foundation on my wedding day was such a relief. Guess you could say I knew my path all along…Fast forward to hair school, 15 years ago. First day-I knew I was in the right place! Now to describe my style-I'd rather give you a visual.

“Meghan was an actual blessing on our wedding. We got married in Maine and I had previously found someone more local to do my hair. To say that initial test with the other person was disappointing would be a gross understatement. I have very thin hair and as such bought extensions. The other person said she couldn't use all of them, and the ones she did use pulled on my hair and scalp in such a painful way that I couldn't wear them for more than an hour or so and the style looked thin and fried. Enter Meghan. Given the exact same tools and accessories she worked actual magic. She gave me wedding hair better than I ever could've imagined or dreamed of. I asked for wild and witchy and romantic and she delivered tenfold. It was so comfortable and long-lasting and I got nothing but compliments on it and she did such a good job integrating the extensions that no one believed it wasn't my real hair. She gave recommendations for which extensions to get and what products to use to prep my hair and was all around amazing. She even helped my groom with his hair last minute on the day of and he looked fabulous too. Meghan was such a joy to be around and was so sweet and kind and helpful and talented that I wish I could get married again just to use her. She's a gem and I will recommend her to anyone who asks and everyone who doesn't ask.”

“Yin was extremely accommodating and very personable. From the bridal trial to the actual day, I felt so beautiful. She was able to capture the look that I was going for with both a tea ceremony and wedding reception being able to have a makeup look match the essence and being able to take my hair down from an updo and have it down for the ceremony. She is very professional and her quality of work shows. Everyone at our wedding was complimenting our hair and makeup. She was able to complete my Maid of Honor, Mother’s, and me the brides hair and makeup in a timely manner the day of and travel to us with no problem. We all had different hair and makeup requests and she knocked them out of the park. Not to mention, her approach is very warm and we all felt so comfortable.
