My fiancé and I toured over 30 venues in 5 different states looking for that one venue where we would get butterflies and could imagine ourselves getting married there. The minute I got out of my car for our tour. I knew this was the place and my now husband had the same feeling. I honestly wished we would have found it sooner so we didn’t waste so much time touring all of those other places. Sterling Event Venue is a little slice of perfection just 30 minutes outside of hectic and chaotic Orlando and all of the theme park chaos! When you are out at Sterling, it doesn’t feel like Florida. The property is breathtakingly gorgeous. The outside ceremony space was not only beautiful but it made the perfect backdrop for photos and the indoor reception space is also beautiful and can be with or without decor! On top of it being the most beautiful place to get married, the staff deserves to be noted in this review because despite how perfect a venue looks, the staff can make or break the whole experience and I cannot rave enough about the team at Sterling. I had so many questions being that I never planned a wedding before in the year leading up to my wedding and they answered every phone call and email in a kind and very timely manner. It took a lot of the stress off of the planning! Two things to note that did not bother us but is maybe worth mentioning: 1. Depending on time of year (we got married in May) the outdoor ceremony seating is mostly in the direct sunlight for guests so it can be very hot for your guests. We provided hand fans so that helped. The bridal party is covered by the Ceremony covering so you don’t have to worry about that. 2. The only bathrooms for guests are inside the reception hall so if you wanted the reception space to be a surprise or wanted to do a room reveal it isn’t the easiest option. Neither of these should be deal breakers for you but again just thought it would be worth noting. This place definitely speaks for itself but if you wanted to read an honest review in the case you were unsure, CHOOSE STERLING. You won’t regret it.
