I knew I had to have them for my own wedding, and they did not disappoint. One of the best parts was that they also provided an event coordinator. Alicia, my day of coordinator, was incredible! She was in touch with me months before the wedding, answering every single one of my questions, and on the day of she made everything run so smoothly. From the ceremony to the reception, she had everything perfectly organized, and I never had to stress. The catering staff was professional, attentive, and truly wonderful. They set up, cleaned up, and cleaned made sure everything was flawless. Our friends and family are still raving about how amazing the food was. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

She had me try on a shorter lash and a longer lash and told me to see how I felt at the end of the day. I ended up going with the long lash and loved it! The morning of the wedding, Nicole and her assistant Elba were punctual and added a calming energy to the room. I had some minor modifications after the trial requesting a different eye shadow color and some more contour. Nicole accomodated these changes perfectly. “Finding a vegan bakery is hard, and finding one that does weddings can be even more difficult! Luckily, we were able to connect with Becky at Celebrated for our recent wedding. She came recommended by a couple close friends who worked with her for the desserts at their own completely vegan wedding a few years ago- we attended so we knew already how good the cakes and desserts are! From start to finish, Becky was so involved and helpful in the process. The tasting box is HUGE and full of your own choices and such a treat in itself honestly! The hardest part was choosing combinations, but she provides popular pairings and opinions if you need assistance. The pricing is very transparent, and if you’re torn between options, the pricing and quantities can be laid out in different pairings so you can really see what works best for you. We ended up going with a 1/2 sheet cake for serving and a smaller two-tiered display cake for cutting- the bottom tier got served as well and we took the top tier home! The design input provided is also so helpful. We were torn between a few different ideas, so I sent over my thoughts to Becky with some inspo boards, and she got back to me with her opinions and helped me make the final decision. We paired up with my florist, who provided blooms to decorate the tiered cake with, and it came out so beautifully. We couldn’t have been happier! We had such pretty, and more importantly, delicious cakes for our wedding. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, vegan or not!”

We were planning a wedding at a personal property, meaning we had to supply every single vendor and she handled everything amazingly. She wrangled the vendors prior to the day of and she helped me keep my cool during the stress of the morning. You can tell she's a pro at this! There were times I felt a little underwater in terms of managing an event I had no experience with, and her demeanor was so calming and she handled any last minute things. “To say Emily and the team at GBC made our dreams come true is an understatement. From the moment we met, we were immediately impressed with her positive attitude, attention to detail, and organization. We fell in love with the venue initially, but now upon reflecting, it was the collective efforts of the staff of Galilee Beach Club that we will forever cherish and appreciate for the rest of our lives. Emily patiently listened and worked hard throughout the entire process, answering endless emails from me, while collaborating with Chris the general manager, Chef Rob, and the rest of her event staff to make all of our ideas come to life. Emily’s planning meetings along the way were focused, thorough, and super informative. She made time (even during her hectic season) for us, always. We trusted her completely with our vision and she knocked it out of the park. For me, I was in awe of her attention to the little things… the plate of hors douerves delivered to the bridal suite for us right after the ceremony, the signature drinks in our toasting flutes during dinner, the floating candles she suggested for the sweetheart table, right down to Emily locating our missing marriage license moments before the ceremony! She did it all with grace and ease. I could trust Emily and her team to set up all of the decor without an ounce of worry and on top of the beautiful set-up, Emily and her team packed up everything (and I mean everything!) into my car that night which truly was an unbelievable service. Chris, the General Manager, was our officiant and he was incredible. We had only met Chris a handful of times before we got married, but we felt as if he was one of our good friends. He knew exactly what we were looking for and we couldn’t have asked for a better ceremony. And the food! Everything was out of this world. Multiple guests claimed the short rib was the best they ever had. Chef Rob’s seared tuna steaks were prepared to perfection, even impressing a room full of tuna fisherman, which is certainly not an easy feat! The Galilee Beach Club was a warm, welcoming, highly professional, full service, simply spectacular place to get married. Our wedding surpassed our wildest dreams, which was undoubtedly the result of the hard work and long hours put in by Emily, Chris, Rob and the rest of the event staff at GBC. As two native Rhode Islanders and Galilee locals, we could not have had a more perfect setting for one of the most memorable days of our lives. “How do we even begin to explain how much we love Rhode Tripper Photography? If you’re reading this while considering booking them for your wedding - FULL STOP, JUST DO IT. Meaghan and Evan are two of the most lovely people we have met. Once we had our wedding date, they were the first vendor that we booked for our big day. From the very first meeting, we felt completely at ease talking to them about our vision, our budget, and what we wanted the day to feel like. They are super well connected in the wedding industry, and had lots of recommendations for other vendors when we felt overwhelmed. Initially we opted to skip an engagement shoot, but ended up reaching out to book one so that we’d have a little practice posing. It felt right for us as it gave us a chance to meet Meaghan and Evan and see how we felt behind the camera. They made us feel comfortable right from the start, and while we initially booked it just for practice, we were stunned by how beautiful the photographs came out. We knew immediately we’d made the right choice in booking Rhode Tripper Photography and ended up extending our wedding day coverage. We just couldn’t get enough of their gorgeous style and eye for detail. Leading up to the wedding, Meaghan and Evan were available for all of our questions and planning details. Meaghan ended up assembling a wedding timeline that even our event planners were blown away by. You can tell she knows what she’s doing (spoiler - the timeline was perfect down to the minute). On the day of the wedding, we felt completely relaxed and honestly just giddy to be around Meaghan and Evan. They brought such a fun and light energy to our day and blended in seamlessly with our friends and family. When we needed a leader in the chaos, they were there to make announcements and call people to step up for photos and stay on track. When we were on the dance floor, they blended in like they were lifelong friends dancing with all of us. When pollen from my flowers stained my dress, Meaghan had a Shout wipe ready - and did you know that Shout wipes work way better on a wedding dress than a Tide pen? MEAGHAN KNEW. We could truly go on forever about how much we love Rhode Tripper Photography, but we’ll let their gorgeous photos speak for themselves. “Joey G is like my cool uncle except he’s got sick DJ skills. He did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Not only was he professional and organized, but he also brought an incredible energy to our wedding. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, we provided him with a specific music selection, and even though we never rehearsed together, he nailed it perfectly. During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! Joey G was also a great help with announcements, coordinating toasts, and working with friends and family to announce the newlyweds and photo groups. His flexibility and attention to detail were impressive. Overall, I highly recommend Joey G to any couple looking for an awesome wedding DJ. He provided a questionnaire that made the whole planning process so easy, and his execution was simply fantastic. Joey G truly made our wedding day unforgettable!”

Since a little girl I found myself always playing and expressing my love for art through makeup. During high school, I started taking clients in my little room. At first, it was just for fun, eventually I started venturing out and traveled to clients in the area. I was then able to get hired at my dream job, Sephora, which was one of the best experiences I've had. In 2022 I opened a studio in Johnston, Rhode Island and eventually joined a wedding team in Newport. I am super excited to showcase my talent in the bridal industry.
