Mimosa Lake is located across from historic Lunenburg Courthouse. The courthouse was built in the late 1700s and is one of three Thomas Jefferson designed courthouses in the United States. Mimosa Lake is an ideal location for a destination wedding or event. It offers Southern hospitality at its finest. The centerpiece of the property is the 30-acre private lake backdropped by 300 acres of open fields and 400 yr. old evergreen trees providing year-round beauty and privacy for your ceremony. This venue is what I would call a hidden gem! Tucked away Lunenberg Counry in Central VA, it is the perfect location. For families who may have guests who are spread out throughout the state or tri-state area. The venue boasts a beautiful waterfront ceremony area, but also offers an intimate and romantic indoor area for an inclement weather contingency plan. The owners will go above and beyond to make sure their brides and grooms, vendors and guests are satisfied...anything you need, just ask!
