Panoramic waterfront views, light and airy barn-inspired architecture, and unparalleled service and support make The Boathouse at Sunday Park a destination-worthy venue just minutes from Richmond. Our couples have the opportunity to work with two impeccable event spaces: The Ceremony Garden exudes an ambiance of tranquility with 360-degree scenic views. To enhance the experience a tent can be erected allowing guests to continue to enjoy the outside natural splendor regardless of the weather. The Garden Pavillion is a fully-enclosed event private event building with heating and air-conditioning for year-round comfort. The venue can host upwards of 150 people and more than 200 with additional tenting.

Destination-worthy venue just minutes from Richmond
Located next to the Boathouse at Sunday Park in a fully enclosed, heated and air-conditioned building with a wood-burning fireplace. Glass doors on one side of the Pavilion open onto a private deck overlooking the lake. The Garden Pavilion can seat up to 100 guests. With additional tenting the capacity increases to 200 seated guests, or 250 for a stand-up event.

The perfect venue
The Boathouse at Sunday Park was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the start, Amanda and team were quick to respond to our inquiries, thoughtful in their communication, and went above and beyond to help us coordinate all the details. On the day of, the wait staff was excellent and took care of our every need, allowing us to fully enjoy the beautiful, elegant, and classy atmosphere. The food was excellent and the lake views were stunning. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to celebrate our special day. Highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding experience.
Fantastic venue and staff!
This place was amazing! From the planner, day of Coordinator, to serving staff everyone was an absolute delight to work with. They provided meetings throughout the planning process to make sure your vision happens. The venue is a decent price and includes all your tables, linens, cutlery. The food was absolutely amazing! They give you a bag with your wedding food and a bottle of wine at the end of your wedding night! I can’t recommend this place and staff enough.

The Boathouse at Sunday Park was the perfect venue for our small wedding. From the very beginning, their team was incredibly responsive, detailed, and proactive in helping us plan every aspect of our special day. The venue itself was cozy and beautifully decorated, with the perfect intimate size for our close-knit celebration. On the day of the wedding, all of the details were seamlessly handled by the staff, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the moment. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to celebrate our marriage. Highly recommend this wonderful venue!

The Boathouse at Sunday Park was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the very first interaction, the staff was quick, straightforward, and incredibly helpful in guiding us through the planning process. On the day of, their attention to detail and care for the wedding couple was evident - the day of coordinator, servers, and entire team made sure my husband and I were fed, hydrated, and had everything we needed to enjoy our special day. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous gardens that provided a stunning backdrop for our photos. I didn't have to worry about a single thing being forgotten, as the Boathouse team had every aspect covered. They truly made our wedding day perfect, and I would highly recommend them to any couple looking for an amazing, stress-free experience.
