We had our wedding on June 7th 2025 at Lord Thompson Manor. I cannot express enough how you should have your wedding here. Andrew, Jackie, Janice and Ted are top tier. Janice made us feel so special and throughout the day advocated for me. When the rain stopped and i wanted pictures outside, Ted went and got a leaf blower to blow away the rain so that my dress didn’t get wet. I do not say this lightly that they will forever be like family to me. They made the best day of our lives extra special. Our guests are still saying to us they can’t stop thinking about our wedding, that it was magical and the best wedding they’ve ever have ever gone to and I owe that all to Lord Thompson Manor. I will be eternally grateful for the way they made us and our wedding feel extra special. You are making a mistake if you do not book with Lord Thompson Manor.

Block 134 was a pleasure to work with. They were flexible and answered all of my questions. The event space was perfect for a kid’s party. Being an art gallery, the room had a lot of character and felt very special. We hired a magician to entertain the kids and the space lends itself really well to that kind of entertainment. I would absolutely recommend other parents look into the space for a kid’s party!

We loved having our wedding at the Ballroom at Providence G! The space was very upscale and elegant. It looked fantastic in photos, and it felt great in person too. We also really enjoyed working with the staff at the venue. We worked hand-in-hand with several different people, and each person was organized, kind, and detail-oriented. And even though we talked with multiple people throughout the planning process, everything was very cohesive and all of our requests were honored (with no exceptions whatsoever). We also enjoyed having our cocktail hour on the Rooftop at the Providence G. The vibes up there were immaculate, and we also loved the appetizers and drinks. Additionally, we received several compliments from our guests on the location. Everyone took advantage of how the venue is in the heart of downtown Providence to spend some time enjoying the city. We loved our wedding here!

If you’re looking for a low-stress wedding venue that offers incredible value, look no further. We held our wedding at The Mansion at Bald Hill on September 28, 2025, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We started touring venues in mid March, hoping to find a place that could host a small-ish wedding with an outdoor ceremony, indoor reception, and full food and drink service without sky high prices or hidden fees. I even built a spreadsheet comparing every option within a 50-mile radius, and The Mansion at Bald Hill definitely stood out. Many venues had undisclosed minimums, surprise costs, or odd restrictions, but the Mansion had none of that. The Mansion was transparent, elegant, and far more accommodating than we expected. We toured three venues total, saving the Mansion for last—honestly thinking it might be out of our price range or require too many guests. But as soon as we drove up the winding road and saw the gorgeous grounds, we started crossing our fingers. After our tour with Janet, the events director, and her clear breakdown of the options and pricing, we got in the car, looked at each other, and said, “Yep, this is the it!” No discussion needed. In the months leading up to the wedding, Janet was absolute wonderful to work with—responsive, organized, and genuinely kind. She answered every question promptly, accommodated all of our requests, and went above and beyond to make our day seamless. On the wedding day itself, she and the entire staff exceeded every expectation. The food was phenomenal, the bar and banquet teams were attentive and friendly, and every detail—from setup to timing—was handled perfectly. Choosing The Mansion at Bald Hill was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue that’s stunning, stress free, and run by people who truly care about making your day special.

I had the pleasure of working with Hope Lodge Venue recently as a wedding photographer and I can say they are a fantastic choice . Their communication style is incredibly responsive, helpful, and enthusiastic - they go above and beyond to ensure every detail is taken care of. Great quality of work for a the value ; the venue is open, clean, bright, and airy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a wedding or big event . One memorable example was when the staff dressed up along with the Gatsby-themed wedding, truly immersing themselves in the couple's vision. My only suggestion would be for them to potentially expand their parking area in the future, but overall, Hope Lodge Venue is an excellent option for couples seeking a beautiful, well-managed wedding venue and one they could decorate and make their own.

I hosted my daughter's Bridal Shower Tea Party at the Proctor Mansion Inn this past Saturday May 31, 2025. I could not have had it at a more appropriate venue, it was absolutely perfect! Every single guest could not get over how beautiful and elegant the Mansion is- the decor and architecture are gorgeous. Michelle and her staff were fabulous. Michelle helped me plan the shower every step of the way, she answered every question I had, offered suggestions to me because she knew this was my first bridal shower, and she went above and beyond to make sure every detail in decorating and service was perfect. Michelle assisted me in selecting the perfect caterer for our tea party, Chef Paul Streichert, owner of Gatherings by Chef Paul. Overall feedback from my guests: BEST Bridal Shower EVER! And it is all a credit to Michelle, her staff, Chef Paul, and the Proctor Mansion Inn.

Through out planning communication was clear and timely. Donna answered all my questions and accommodated any changes (even last minute) without batting an eye. Salems has great relationships with local venders and their ability to collaborate made it all the more seamless. On the day of my family and I chose to get ready at Salem’s; we had a comfy suite and they served us a delicious sit down lunch with salads and mimosas in a private dining space. When a couple of little girls showed up as a surprise the kitchen staff even made them their own macaroni and cheese plates! The ceremony space and overall landscaping was perfect with flowers and fresh cut grass. Our guests loved taking photos on the beautiful grounds and our professional photos look like they are straight out of a fairy tale. At the reception everyone raved about the delicious prime rib dinner and strawberry short cake. The serving staff and bartenders were fun, personable, professional, attentive and really seemed invested in making my family’s day perfect. If I could do my wedding day again I would absolutely choose this venue.

I can’t say enough good things about Little Gold! I am so glad I decided to get ready here instead of at a hotel or airbnb. The suite was absolutely perfect for my wedding morning. It’s spacious, beautifully designed, and filled with great natural light. The space is so peaceful and I felt calm and relaxed all morning. There was plenty of room for everyone to get ready and hang out and it had everything we could have needed, from a steamer to a speaker. We were married at The Haley Mansion on July 25, 2025, and it was truly the wedding of our dreams. Our onsite wedding planner, Catherine, was an absolute gem—so personable, always in great spirits, and incredibly responsive no matter the day or time. She truly felt like home to us throughout the entire process, and we couldn't imagine our day without her guidance and warmth. The venue itself is breathtaking. We held our ceremony under the tent and it was nothing short of stunning. The setting, the ambiance, the flow—every detail was seamless. Our guests are still raving about the food! The passed appetizers were a huge hit, especially the cheesesteak eggrolls, and the prime rib dinner was unforgettable. We also added a custom ice cream bar with brownies for dessert, and the chef didn’t hesitate to bring that idea to life. Everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a venue with true New England charm, The Haley Mansion is it. The convenience of having the Inn at Mystic just steps away made it feel like our own private compound for the weekend. The Cambridge Boat Club was the perfect choice for our New England fall-themed wedding! It is an absolutely gorgeous location on the river with just the right amount of historic charm. We had originally considered going with all-inclusive venues, but ultimately opted for the flexibility we had with the CBC to craft our own vision. The venue features two distinct rooms, a larger room called the Drinkwater room, which can be used for the wedding dinner, the Club Room, which was used for cocktail hour and the dance floor, and a porch, which has a stunning view. The layout perfectly accommodated both the party enthusiasts and our more introverted guests, who preferred quieter spaces for rest and socialization away from the dance floor. Opting for this venue requires a more DIY approach compared to all-inclusive options. Since it is a historic building, there are some restrictions to be aware of, e.g. no sparklers or ceiling drapery, and existing wall decor generally need to stay on the wall. This was no issue for us since we had a clear vision for the wedding theme and decor, and enlisted the help of Tastings Catering (highly recommend, since they have previous experience working in this space and also handle some of the decor) and Designlight. Major shoutout to Katie Donnelly, the club manager at Cambridge Boat Club, who always responded in record time to all our inquiries and provided helpful guidance. With everyone's help, we were able to create the wedding of our dreams!

We came across the Huntington Theatre very early during our venue search, but since the first visit and meeting with Esther we fell in love with the Maso Studio! We planned an unconventional wedding which involved merging Indian culture with a non-denominational western ceremony, and Esther, Abbie, Kat and the whole team made our vision come to life. They met with us as many times as we wanted, accommodated all of our odd requests, and helped our friends decorate the space on the day of. The bar team executed our Indian-style custom cocktails perfectly, and provided invaluable suggestions that made the cocktails memorable for all our guests. Since the Maso Studio had its own lighting and sound systems, we were able to make our wedding look and sound just the way we wanted. The team also helped us come up with lighting presets during the ceremony and reception. We cannot recommend the Huntington Theatre enough for your own dream wedding.

My husband and I always wanted a Boston wedding, with all events able to happen at one location. When we found the second oldest ballroom in Boston and within budget we were floored! To top it off, the way allow access to the ballroom, cocktail hour and ceremony rooms starting at 7am, which was amazing for all our vendors who were able to drop off all items. The hotel staff assisted with moving decor, setting up favors, and security made sure everyone had elevator access to the different spaces. The day went so smoothly. We’ll planning we communicated with the hotel planner who assisted with table setup, bar placement etc. just a quick walk to the public gardens we did our first look, had amazing ballroom photos, it was just a stunning day and they had everything we needed!

We had the most magical day of our lives getting married at the Hampshire House in early May this year. Right from the get go, Hampshire House checked all our boxes when it came to what we were looking for in a wedding venue. It has that old New England charm, is located right next to the beautiful Public Gardens and is the perfect size for an intimate, small to medium sized wedding (we had 60-70 guests in attendance). Most of all, the food here is beyond exceptional and some of the best we’ve had. We are major foodies, and having food that was well-plated, generously portioned, and above all delicious and memorable was a high priority item for us. We were lucky enough to be able to work with Sydney Turnbull and the Hampshire house team. Sydney is the most kind, professional, and detail-oriented catering sales manager and event coordinator and thanks to her, all our venue planning with Hampshire House was truly smooth sailing and stress-free. Sydney constantly kept us in the loop with next steps in our planning timeline, offering thoughtful recommendations and suggestions for our wedding (such as floral placements during our ceremony, order and timing of toasts/speeches, seating arrangements, the list goes on!) She kept in contact with all our vendors, always promptly responded to our many emails, walked us through all the steps during our ceremony rehearsal —somehow making it seem much less daunting, and on our big day Sydney seemed to always be one step ahead, preparing and leading us through every portion of our wedding timeline in such a seamless way. Lastly, since our wedding ended late into the evening, Hampshire House thoughtfully held on to and organized all our florals, and various wedding signage and other items so that we were able to return and pick it up at the venue on a following day. This made it so we didn’t have to worry about anything at all night of and could end our wedding day with the peace of mind that everything was taken care of. Truly, we cannot recommend Sydney and the Hampshire House enough and if we were to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing!
