“Jason was great throughout the whole process! He was great at communicating and making sure he had all of the songs that we wanted (and didn’t) throughout the night. He also did a great job at adjusting the songs played based off of what our guests responded well to so people were on the dance floor all the time which I loved!! He collected a bunch of photos from us and displayed them on a screen that’s built into his DJ booth (I don’t know what it’s called) and many guests came up to us to specifically tell us that they loved seeing our pictures of us and our relationship as well as pics of us growing up. It’s something I don’t even think of doing, but Jason offered and I’m so glad he did! He also set up a photo booth that was very popular. He was great at making sure that things that I needed were just taken care of and went out of his way to coordinate with my wedding planner and kept me in the loop which I appreciated. He provides access to an online portal (extremely cool!!) which gives you the opportunity to give him a general idea of the type of music you want and keeps things extremely organized...Now more importantly, he literally had the crowd on the dance floor the ENTIRE time... and I’m not exaggerating. (People were texting me days later that they’re sore from dancing the whole night!) He is able to read the crowd and deliver. Its been a few months since the wedding and I STILL receive compliments about the DJ - how incredible the music was and how awesome his lighting work was. “Kelton from Marquee Artists was amazing! He was a communicative and active participant in the planning of the music and the announcements at my wedding on March 9. Kelton provided an extensive list of potential songs to play in a shared Google Document with columns for “play” and “do not play” which was great. Also, I was impressed that he attended the walk through of the Whittemore House a month prior to the wedding, asking pertinent questions of the Whittemore staff about the placement of various things and how best to provide the sound amplification that would be needed. He provided wireless mics which worked really well for the toasts. Kelton did a great job as the master of ceremony and his mix of the selected music was fun and fabulous. He had the crowd dancing, rocking to the music. Many of the older folks told me that they hadn’t danced in years but were having lots of fun doing so then. Having him on our wedding team instilled so much confidence in me, my daughter and new son-in-law, who is an amateur DJ. They were so taken by Kelton that, if possible, they would like to attend future events at which Kelton is the DJ!! I HIGHLY recommend him.”
