“Alexis was absolutely amazing!! She was our hair and makeup artist for my wedding this Saturday and when I say she KILLED it!! Aside from her AMAZING hair and makeup skills… We had a few bumps in the road so my mom and I weren’t able to make it to the venue until after my scheduled time for both hair and makeup. As you can imagine, I was definitely panicking about our ceremony starting in less than two hours from the time of my arrival. When I finally made it, I felt SO much better as I realized that Alexis made sure that all of my bridesmaids were on track as far as hair and makeup while I was gone. She completed my hair and makeup beautifully with time to spare for my mom’s hair and makeup. She even managed to squeeze in another makeup service for one of my guests. From the beginning, before I even signed the contract, the ladies at the Makeup Loft were a joy to work with. Allie was a wonderful coordinator - she answered all my questions and communicated promptly. My trial was so much fun and I felt like I was truly heard. On my wedding day the 4 stylists - Taylor (MUA), Ryleigh (MUA), Chaney (Hair Stylist), and Mikayla (Hair Stylist) were right on time, set up very quickly, and were ready to go. The kept everyone on schedule and were out the door at the correct time. Logistics aside - everyone looked STUNNING. Like truly the most gorgeous version of themselves. What I love about Makeup Loft is they don't try to transform you; they truly bring out the beauty you already have. There were many selfies taken. The hair was similarly magical. It didn't matter if the girls had the thickest curly hair or the finest straight hair everyone's vision became a reality. I have to shout out my personal stylists who I could not possibly say enough positive things about. Chaney must have special powers because I don't know how she managed to get my hair to look like it did. I have always had fine curly hair, and she somehow got it to look like the pictures below in about an hour. I got so many compliments all night (and yes, it stayed exactly like that all night). And Taylor. Taylor is not only an amazing MUA but she is also an amazing person to have with you on your wedding day. My make-up was perfect. I was glowing and I have never felt more beautiful. She took my trial look and elevated it x1000. The make-up lasted all night through multiple hours of dancing. Taylor also went above and beyond to help with my mom who has dementia. She made sure she looked beautiful and was taken care of all morning. The compassion and care she showed me and her on this day really means and says so much about her, the rest of the team (who were also amazing with her), and the Makeup Loft in general. If you want to look like the best version of yourself, feel like a princess, and be treated like family I cannot recommend Makeup Loft enough!!!”

“I can’t recommend Giulia enough. She puts an enormous amount of time into getting to know each client, I felt so seen and taken care of throughout the entire process. I loved her energy so much, I was honestly sad when she packed up and left for the day at my wedding haha!! She chose two fantastic additional makeup artists to work alongside her to handle my large wedding party in a short amount of time (we had 12 women with makeup done by 12 pm!!) Everyone was so fun and kind and laughing, the vibes were perfect. Giulia is so skilled, you can see as she works the artistic eye that she has. With my very medium amount of makeup knowledge and having never had my makeup done before, I struggled to express what I wanted, but she understood my vision and made it happen. Before the makeup trial, she sent me a hefty questionnaire asking me so many details about my experiences with makeup, my preferences, and what I envisioned for my wedding day. She referenced my answers throughout the whole trial. I felt so seen. During my makeup trial, she also asked me questions about the other women in my bridal party. Even though she couldn’t, of course, do a trial for everyone, she collected data about them so she’d know what to expect. Especially for some of my party who were nervous to have their makeup done, it was so reassuring to know how much a she cared about her work not only on the bride. My trial makeup wasn’t perfect, but my wedding makeup was PERFECT. The way she took notes and made changes between the trial and the wedding day was amazing and just showed her skill and thoughtfulness. She changed up the blush/bronzer, the lashes, and the lip color and the changes she made between the trial and the wedding made my makeup look perfect. I didn’t know when I hired her but I was so happy to find out is that she’s been in the biz for years!! She looks young but said she’s been a MUA for something like ten years. I felt so reassured and knew I was in good hands. Before the trial, she also sent me a Pinterest board of make up examples that were all 100% real, to cut through the BS of AI, photoshop, etc. that is so much of Pinterest nowadays. I sent it to my bridal party to set their expectations straight and give them inspo as well. Also, she gave me really good skin care product recommendations that I am still using seven months later. Overall, Giulia cares, is so talented, and the right person to hire for your wedding day.”
