Hi, I’m Melani, the owner and lead makeup artist behind Melicious Makeup & Esthetics! I’m a Metro Detroit-based makeup artist and licensed esthetician with over 8 years of experience in the beauty industry. I’ve specialized in bridal makeup since 2021 and graduated from Makeup Designory in New York after completing their 812-hour Master Makeup Artist Program. I love creating personalized looks that enhance your natural beauty while making you feel confident and completely like yourself. From soft and natural to romantic, timeless, or full glam, I’ll work with you to bring your vision to life.

What sets me apart is my combination of professional artistry, extensive education, and genuine passion for bridal beauty. With over 8 years of experience, an 812-hour Master Makeup Artist education from Makeup Designory in New York, and a background in esthetics, I bring both artistry and skincare knowledge to every appointment. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all makeup. I create personalized looks that enhance each bride’s natural beauty while staying true to her style and vision. My goal is also to make your wedding morning feel calm, organized, and enjoyable! 🤍

    Mel made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! The makeup stayed on so strong and she took all of my notes from my trial and perfected the look. The kit she left me for touch ups was so helpful! She had my whole group of girls looking glowy and confident!

    Melani just did my wedding the other day and I am beyond thankful I had her to do my makeup, along with all of my bridesmaids! Everyone looked ABSOLUTELY beautiful and we all got so many compliments all night! She did such an amazing job and I’m so happy I chose her to do my wedding makeup!

    Melani did mine and my bridal parties makeup for my wedding. We all were so happy with her work! Melani was super flexible with the timeline and made sure we all were happy before leaving. She included a touch up kit as well!! The whole bridal party got compliments all night on how nice our makeup looked! She was 100% the right choice to make me feel beautiful on my wedding day!

    Booked with Melani for my wedding day, she did me (the bride), 5 bridesmaids, and 2 moms within the time frame I gave. The makeup was perfect, so perfect it made me feel more confident than I ever have in my life. It held up perfectly too, I know it sounds bad, but I slept in my make up on my wedding night, & when I woke up the next morning, it looked just as good as it did when she put it on. If you’re thinking about booking with Melani I would suggest you do. She’s great, very thorough & reasonably priced!

    Melani made me and my girls feel extra beautiful on my wedding day. From the moment I did my trial, to my actual wedding day, the whole experience was wonderful. Melani was able to send me her contract over, explain all the details, and answered any questions I had. Melani is SUPER talented! I brought an 'inspo' picture to my trial, and she was able to give me suggestions based on my features. On the actual day of my wedding, she arrived early to setup and was just awesome to have around. I couldn't of asked for a better makeup artist for my special day! Everyone complimented my makeup and how it lasted all night! I highly recommend Melani! THANK YOU <3
