“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Working with Joey was an unbelievable pleasure. My now husband and I were quite nervous about hiring a DJ (naturally given it was our first time!), but the second I found and spoke to Joey over the phone in an introductory call, I knew we were in good hands. His warmth, charisma and incredible professional experience was apparent, even during those first few minutes. Joey is an unbelievably talented performer (he played live cello at our ceremony) and a well seasoned DJ. What we didn’t know when we first hired him, was just how much help Joey would be in helping us schedule and orchestrate the flow of our full wedding. We had multiple calls and meetings, well before the wedding day, where Joey kept us informed and confident all throughout. He helped us coordinate the music not only to the most important parts of the wedding, but also to all in the in-betweens, making sure that good vibes were always flowing throughout the whole thing. He kept things moving (even though that was outside the scope of his work) and made sure everything was on schedule. Trained at Dubspot School of Electronic Music in New York City, Davis Mallory's DJ style is influenced by his childhood in Atlanta, Georgia, time exploring the music scenes of Chicago, Europe and New York, Los Angeles and Music City: Nashville, Tennessee. Davis has performed at countless weddings, nightclubs and fundraisers with some career highlights including: the Denver Nuggets Halftime Show, opening for Eurovision winner Netta in Stockholm, Country Music Fest 2014, Amsterdam's Club NYX and MadFox, the Anheuser-Busch Awards opening for James Corden and KC & the Sunshine Band, and Vanderbilt Homecoming playing with Aaron Carter.
