The Venue is a unique space that allows you to host your event with pride and confidence. The Venue is located in the downtown historic district of Sedalia, Missouri. We are located within two blocks of The Hotel Bothwell and across the street from Kay's Bridal and Tuxedo. You and your guests are also within walking distance of restaurants, bars, barbershops, beauty salons and the Ozark coffee shop. The building has been renovated by adding modern touches to the original charm that was created in 1906. The Venue's main level exhibits industrial chic accents such as; Grand chandeliers, string lighting, concrete countertops, exposed brick, the original hardwood floors and punch tin ceiling.

Our event space is classically decorated with a timeless, European folk-tale inspired motif that reaches from floor to our beautiful 16 foot ceilings. The rustic full-wall windows let in gorgeous floods of sunlight by day and romantic views of the city by night. We would love to help host your event and perfectly curate your special day. Our space can seat up to 45 guests plus additional outdoor and side room accommodations if needed. Event Rentals start at $600 for a three hour rental. Our in-house catering menu is available for events and includes crepe bars, charcuterie options, bartending and more. ​Our names are Craig and Nancy Rogge, and we have lived on and owned this property for almost 40 years. We have raised two children here and have used our barns and property all these years to raise horses, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits, cats, and dogs. We have many years of wonderful memories and stories on our little piece of paradise! ​Our barns were built in 1944 by a previous owner, Walter Kurzweil, who our street is named after and who used the property and barns for a dairy farm. Fast forward to 2021, when we began The Rogge Family Vineyard and Event Space, our hope has been and still is to offer a private party rental space rich in rustic barn charm for the hosting of your joyful and memorable event.

Located in Peculiar, Missouri, The Dogwood Gardens is a modern take on a rustic-style wedding event venue. The property is inclusive of eight and a half acres, full of scenic nature and ideal photo backdrops. Inside, couples will find separate get-ready spaces as well as a staircase tucked under a stunning balcony that leads back to the primary celebration area. Also accessible is a large professional prep area for caterers. This space allows a location for chefs to use, composing food to be served fresh. Fitted with a built-in bar, this venue offers up a dedicated area where couples can serve the drinks of their choice. During the celebration, in the main room, an 85-inch screen may be used for slideshows or presentations. These elements combined with the charm of a wood-carved hall provides a cozy setting with modern amenities. Outdoors, there are also plenty of spectacular spots to discover. Woods, water, and a cedar patio all welcome couples' explorations.

The Hotel Bothwell promises perfect, seamless execution of your event plans and customized options to make your day unique.
