    Beautiful venue

    I have booked two events at State Theatre! And attended other events there. Easy to book, beautiful venue, everyone is very helpful and friendly. They have the bonus of a very nice patio outside the venue. Small town atmosphere just minutes from Joplin, Missouri or Pittsburg, Kansas.

    Columbus Day event

    The State Theatre Event Center in Columbus is an absolute gem of a venue. Their communication is excellent - the team is friendly, appreciative, and a joy to work with. The quality of their work and the value they provide is stunning. They are incredibly accommodating and have so much to offer, from the beautiful event spaces to the top-notch service. We loved having our wedding event there last October, and have also hosted baby showers, wedding showers, and birthday parties at the center. We look forward to doing many more events with the State Theatre Event Center in the future.

Our standard rental rate includes tables and chairs, use of the bridal suite, and access to the outdoor courtyard for weddings and events.
We offer a variety of tables to suit your event needs, including: 28 round 6-foot tables (seat up to 10 guests each) - 6 round 60" tables (seat up to 8 guests each) - 6-foot and 8-foot rectangular tables, ideal for food, drinks, head tables, or displays --- Cocktail tables, perfect for social hours, lounge areas, or standing receptions All tables are included with your rental, and linen rentals are available upon request.
The State Theatre Event Center has two restrooms—one men’s and one women’s—each equipped with multiple stalls for your guests’ convenience.
