About this venue

​Our names are Craig and Nancy Rogge, and we have lived on and owned this property for almost 40 years. We have raised two children here and have used our barns and property all these years to raise horses, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits, cats, and dogs. We have many years of wonderful memories and stories on our little piece of paradise! ​Our barns were built in 1944 by a previous owner, Walter Kurzweil, who our street is named after and who used the property and barns for a dairy farm. Fast forward to 2021, when we began The Rogge Family Vineyard and Event Space, our hope has been and still is to offer a private party rental space rich in rustic barn charm for the hosting of your joyful and memorable event.


Our event spaces

Rogge Family Vineyard

The venue space includes one large Red Barn, one large white Dairy Barn (with useable loft space), vineyard, and acres of open grounds.

The Red Barn, an old Salt Box Barn, has a concrete floor, surround sound system, corner stage, a bar, and original exposed beams and boards. Centered above the floor is a wagon wheel chandelier. The white Dairy Barn, used once as a milking barn, features a beautiful, rich cedar plank flooring, a bridal suite, exposed white-washed wood ceiling and beams. The Dairy Barn loft is a large open and rustic space to be used when the weather is a bit cooler. Both barns have many rustic lighting features.

We offer a clean and ready venue for you to come in and design and set up the wedding space of your dreams. You come out as many times as needed in advance of your wedding to plan and go through decor. We provide everything you need; you bring in a small team to create a personalized wedding backdrop.

Description

The Full Set-Up Package is where we take your vision, through consultations, for the venue space and custom create a beautiful setting just for you. This includes setting up for the rehearsal dinner (if booked), ceremony, reception/dining space, dance area, games, and any areas around the venue to be personalized.

    Hidden Gem

    The team at Rogge Family Vineyard and Event Space was wonderful to work with for our wedding. From the start, their communication was friendly, quick and respectful, which made the planning process a breeze. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous - the view is stunning and the barn is beautifully decorated, with lots of included decor that added so much to the look and feel of our special day. They went above and beyond to help us, like setting up the arch and letting us come over multiple times before the wedding to get a feel for how we wanted to arrange everything. This family-owned business is truly passionate about creating magical memories, and they were so easy and fun to work with throughout. We couldn't be happier with the value and quality of their services, and we highly recommend Rogge Family Vineyard and Event Space to any couple looking for a stunning wedding venue with a wonderful team behind it.

Yes, as long as you do not sell any alcohol. If you wish to sell alcohol, ie. have a cash bar, you would need a licensed bartender.
Yes, we have two large parking lots adjacent to the venue. We can hold over 100 vehicles.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible.
Each day booked with us includes a timeframe of 9:00 am to 11:00 pm.
Should you cancel the event no later than 30 days prior to the event, all payments may be refunded, except the non-refundable Save-the Date Deposit.
Our venue is located 50 minutes southeast from Kansas City International Airport.
Yes, we require special event insurance. This can be done through your home or renter's insurance company for as little as $50. Or it can be purchased through our recommended provider for $120.
We have a guest capacity of 150 people April through October. The guest capacity is 120 people for March or November.
Yes. We offer air conditioning or heat for one of our barns.
No. We encourage you to choose your own vendors, but we can share with you a list of amazing, preferred vendors that have been at our venue, we can highly recommend, and who offer reasonable rates.
Yes. We have 10 beautiful pinewood rectangular tables, one pinewood sweetheart table, 12 rectangular folding tables, 12 round folding tables, and 200 chairs. We also offer a full set of off-white or black linens as well as many different colored chair sashes.
