The venue space is ornate and the tall atrium and grand staircase provide the perfect wow factor. It’s in the heart of the city located right off the river, and is so close to many hotel options and photo locations. The food was definitely a highlight. We received so many compliments on our food and months later we still hear compliments, particularly the filet mignon. The team was easy to work with and answered all my questions timely and were supportive during the entire process. Me and husband loved our wedding day and have to thank the Builders BLDG for being such a crucial part in our day.

We were looking for a place we could host both the ceremony and reception that felt unique and matched our vibe. Wildman BT delivered that and more! Michelle and Annie were both wonderful to work with and were so helpful to us as we were planning our wedding from states away. They answered all of our questions, helped us identify vendors, and were just the sweetest people. If I was planning another event in Chicago, they would be the first place I would call. The space was absolutely beautiful and offered so many unique amenities including the projection wall which we used for our seating chart and to display our new last names throughout the night, the mobile bar called Honey with self-serve drinks, and the most beautiful bathrooms I have ever been in. It was clear that a ton of thought went into the setup of this versatile space from the gorgeous bridal suite to the amazing AV system and more. We could not recommend Wildman BT enough!

LOULOU by Lula Cafe

5.0

Chicago, IL
  • Up to 40 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $2,000

LOULOU is Lula Cafe's private event venue, located around the corner from the restaurant in Logan Square. We offer seasonal favorites from Lula's menu, along with a full bar, custom cocktails and assorted dessert options.

Why you'll love this venue

  • All-inclusive venue packages
  • Full catering menu to choose from
  • Perfect for a micro-wedding

Venue considerations

  • Does not have a dance floor
  • No on-site bridal suite
  • Not wheelchair accessible
Intimacy is hard to achieve in a venue and nowadays with the crushing oppression of minimalism, even more difficult to find. What I love about Lou Lou is that it has all of the necessary staples of a well run restaurant but none of the chaos. The decor is warm and welcoming, the tables are a pleasant lighter wood that invokes a bright memory of sitting in the kitchen of the cool aunt. Textured pieces of art and pottery grace the walls and delicate white curtains frame the front windows to give the diners privacy. I love that I can see the chefs working diligently behind the counter and that the flow of the space draws your eye down the line and to the cute little stage in the back. This could be used for a jazz trio, a sweetheart table or an emotional speech at a rehearsal dinner. Regardless, the space is unique and I am certain, will become as precious to the community as it is to me and my family.
