Mae responded immediately to all my questions, day or night, and took the time to video chat with me at length twice before the shoot to discuss what we were looking for in our photos. Before the shoot, I had sent her a few examples of what I liked, and not only did the photos come out exactly how I wanted them, but were even more perfect than I envisioned. The engagement shoot itself was so much fun, and Mae made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, despite us thinking we’d both feel awkward getting posed photos of us taken. Mae truly had a vision for what poses, locations, and lighting would work, and the execution was perfect. Some of the feedback we got from our friends was that the photos looked like a magazine, and that they were “ethereal.” Even better, Mae somehow got us the edited photos back within 24 hours of the shoot. Her pricing is also incredibly reasonable given the quality of her work, meticulousness, and experience in photography, as well as the very quick turnaround time. But you sure as hell will catch me snagging photos of you belly-laughing at each other, telling you to draw a shape on your partner’s cheek with your nose (bonus points if it’s something funny…), or letting you know if your fly is down or there’s lipstick on your teeth.

My fiance had them there to photograph our proposal and I liked them so much that we booked them for our engagement and wedding sessions as well. We have some beautiful photos and everyone has complimented their work. I can be anxious, but Lindsay has been really easy to work with. She created a timeline for the day and any thoughts I had she took them into account and found a way to incorporate them into the plan. Truely felt like a team because of how kind and thoughtful she is. Get to the day, she was a calming presence for sure. She showed up with a smile on her face and seamlessly cued the bridesmaids and myself throughout. She was present but didn’t hover it was the perfect balance. Along with that she was my hype girl throughout it 3 Now let’s talk about the pictures, I’m not used to getting my picture taken and feel so uncomfortable being the center of attention but she tells you every detail you need, and if something doesn’t look right she’ll correct it gracefully in the moment.
